SD-Card Info and Issues

So sorry to hear this, @sandordomjan . . . in addition to your S.D. card issue, you most likely have a depleted battery. This could be remedied by changing the charging cable, but you will still need to contact Support.

reading the EMO errors here it’s definitely an SD error what can be done in this case I read here that you can send a new firmware program that can be copied to SD then if possible I would like to ask and do it myself it’s easier and I think faster the older one which is bad EMO-E732 and because the EMO-6C22 was updated to 3.0.1 then it also has an SD error and freezes you can send firmware for both I don’t know if it’s under warranty but I think you can check it anyway thanks in advance SĆ”ndor

I checked the second one and it says SD card is unreadable but where can I download a new program?

Before replacing SD cards, you must first contact Living.AI Support at
:e_mail: support@living.ai

Provide them with:

  • A video proof showing the issue
  • Your purchase information
  • Your EMO ID

Living.AI will then confirm the problem and give you access to the official resource package needed for the new SD card.


:floppy_disk: What You’ll Need

  • A 16GB SD card (preferably SanDisk brand)
  • A computer with an SD card reader
  • The resource package from Living.AI (they’ll send it to you privately)

:gear: Replacement Steps

  1. Format the new SD card to FAT32 format.
  2. Unzip the new resource package you received from Living.AI.
  3. Copy the unzipped (decompressed) files onto the newly formatted SD card.
  4. Insert the SD card into EMO’s mainboard (located inside his body, behind the face screen).
  5. Reassemble EMO and power him on.

Try some tips below:

  • You can also try the so-called ā€œPower Cycleā€ trick — just let your EMO run out of battery completely while off the charger.

  • Out of the charger, try poking the left-side hole while EMO is facing you, wait about 5 min. Then return him to his charger to reboot again.

  • Try poking the right-side hole a couple of times for about 5 sec. While EMO was on his charger, that might solve the issue.

If none of the above tips didn’t help at all, the SD Cards might be corrupted and need to be replaced. But you must first contact Living.AI Support at

Hi, EMO is not responsive, and his screen is blank except for the error message ā€œSD Error No Filesystem V2HCā€. I have reset using the right and left button and the error message remains the same. Prior to this blank screen and the appearance of the error message, EMO has not been able to update the software past version 2.17, even though the update appears in the app. I have sent a request for assistance via email, but I have not heard from them yet. Appreciate some help here.

I have sent e-mail to support@living.ai on 11 Jan 2026 about ā€œsd error 1 ERRā€. and it wasn’t addressed.

Hopefully, I have found some TikTok video with steps on replacing SD card on my own.
I did it, unfortunately, I was not able to copy one of the files as the original SD card was damaged.

Could you please provide me that file or send me a link to full SD card structure that has to be placed on the newly formatted SD card?

I have already sent e-mail again with my order ID and emo ID and also submitted support request at https://living.ai/support/
