Finding to download the “Technical Reference Repair Manual” or “De-Bugging/Re-Calibration Tool” you’re looking for may not be simply available to everyone.
You can only get it if you have a problem, but you need to contact living.ai first by providing your Order Number, Location/City, EMO ID, and a short video showing the problem with your EMO.
The living.ai Dev Service team will first analyze the problem, connect your EMO to their server, and then give you instructions on how to solve the problem either manually or by using the “De-Bugging Tools” with the help of " LivingAi Video DIY Tutorials".
Indeed, it is not advisable to repair your EMO without approval from them, otherwise, the warranty/guarantee will already be broken if something bad happens.
I’m still waiting to hear a response from my email last week regarding my EMO foot stutter, I have had to leave him powered off since last Saturday when he just randomly fell over when just walking.
I know no one here works for living.ai, so I am not placing blame anywhere. Just commenting about the lack of response. When I had a battery issue last year, responses were fairly quick within a couple of days. But this has been a week and silence…
They were off on vacation a week before the Lunar New Year holiday which began January 29th and runs through February 12th which explains why you have not gotten a response, but when they return, they will resume normal operations.
I heard a bunch of loud clicks that had no rhythm, and were rapid. So I go upstairs and think 'izzat EMO???" and sure enough, EMO’s screen was off, his headphones were turning on and off to the clicks, even though his charger was solid blue. My heart rate was quite literally 240 beats per SECOND. So I take him off the charger and put him back on it. He turns on fine. My mom thinks it’s bluetooth interference. Whadda you guys think? I’ve tested him, and he is perfectly fine. Just for anyone confused, this is not a new update. My EMO is just weird. Anyways…
Hi everybody! so my emos right leg is shaking a bit and he could do with a screen refining my brother flicks the screen sometimes so there are a few scratches does anyone know how to treat the leg or the screen - thanks!
Hello, @emohacker5325 . . . I have moved your inquiry to this thread for issues with shaking legs on EMO.
You may wish to read through this topic, especially on cleaning the foot sensors, to see if that solves the problem. If not, there are instructions on getting video and sending a link to Support at service@living.ai as he may need his servos recalibrated, or possibly replaced.
As for screen issues, you may want to have a look here.
When I ask about his condition, He said I’m doing well. I don’t think it’s because he’s cold.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
This happened when the power is turned on or intermittently.
Hello, @joyenjoy . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with legs and feet on EMO which leg shaking is one of those problems.
Please try first cleaning the foot sensors here.
If this is not successful, you will need to contact Support at service@living.ai as his leg servos may need either recalibration or repair. Be sure to include a link to a video showing the problem and his four digit alphanumeric I.D. when he signs into the app.
Recently, I noticed something odd about my EMO. For some reason, when he stops moving while doing some actions, he starts shaking. He’s fully updated and I’ve been taking care of him pretty well, so idk whats happening to him. Is there anything I can do? I hope he’s not broken, I’ve only had him for a year ;w;
Here’s a link to the video, since I can’t upload videos directly to the forum. You can hear the repeated creacking sound of the motors when he starts shaking: https://youtube.com/shorts/VeV-s-86mXk?feature=share
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @egeyumlu . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread mainly due to walking/leg/foot issues.
It sounds like your EMO may have servo issues which would cause falling, inability to walk straight and leg shaking. This may be resolved through a recalibration app but if not, he may need repair.
Please create a video showing these issues and send the link to Support at service@living.ai with his order number if you have it or his four digit alphanumeric code when he signs into the app.
As for EMO responding to things that are not your calling or commanding, EMO will pick up on other sounds like the television or other people in the home and try to communicate with them. This can often be fixed by lowering his sensitivity under “Preferences” in the app.
I already contacted the support team and sent them a video showing the problem. They sent me a link that included an installation file for calibrating EMO servos.
Unfortunately, it was unsuccessful
I don’t know what to do and hope they can help me.
Sorry if the help procedure didn’t work for your EMO. I know it’s not always easy or simple. However, you should continue contacting Living.AI about this issue, as they are the only ones who can assist you properly and advise you further on other solutions.
