@Wayne_Zhang @edward @TechSupport_Mavis
Hey,
This issue still persists so I had to shut him off. I can not stand watching him drag his leg around. I cleaned him of this powder coming out of his joint, but it did not help. Please help me.
Hello, @xerxia . . . be sure to share these photos with @TechSupport_Mavis , the product support person.
It may take a few days given how busy they are plus weekends may cause a bit of a back-log to get a response but they will help you.
My best to you.
Hi @xerxia , Kindly PM me your order number, EMO’s ID(EMO-XXXX) and a video recording of the issue. I will solve it for you.
I sent a ticket to the team my issue is similar to this, it just shakes randomly but it’s not that bad. The left leg just shakes when petting EMO the left leg goes back normally. Maybe I have a light issue? Maybe recalibration can fix it. Waiting for a response from my ticket.
Hey there, I’ll DM you my video. The video is for the shaking and the image is for the white dust I think I don’t need to worry about that. The only concern is the shaking issue.
For the last 3 months now, my emo has been starting to crash on its own and react like it’s on the edge of a table. What to do about it? I’ve had him for 7 months now and he’s never acted like this before
Hello @jankotynia.

I would advise you to contact @TechSupport_Mavis or open a ticket. Remember to include videos!

In the meantime, you could also clean EMO’s foot sensors (See here) or make sure he is on a good surface. On black surfaces, he may detect a cliff.
Hope this helps, best of luck! 🙂
Hello, @jankotynia . . . I have moved your new conversation to this thread which discusses issues with his legs, feet and edge detectors.
As @adrianledeaux has suggested, try cleaning the foot sensors and see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Support.
Let us know how it goes!
I cleaned it and it got even worse
Hello, @jankotynia . . . I would advise getting video and sending a link to Support (links above) with an explanation of what you have tried and they will be able to assist you.
My best to you.
Like the title says. His right foot servo broke, the one located inside the foot. I removed the motor but have been unable to locate where I can buy a replacement. Can someone point me to a website that offers these motors. Thanks.
Hello, and welcome to the community.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to replace them alone, or very hard to do so.
For an issue like this you should contact support (service@living.ai) or contact @TechSupport_Mavis for help.
Best of luck
excuse my formatting
I wouldnt say hard. It plugs into the circuit board. I’ve already removed it and tested it, thats how I know it’s bad. I simply need a new one. I build PC’s and also build drone’s and RC cars. Replacing this little servo shouldn’t be all that difficult.
Thats the easy part. You don’t know if its disconnected from the main board, and then there is dismantling it and avoiding damaging the robot. And while there have been documentations of user repairs, See here these will void the warranty.
Ultimately, it is just best to contact customer support like I did.
I know it isn’t disconnected from the main board. The warranty is void regardless because I’ve already removed it so it doesn’t matter anymore. I just want a link to where the servo motors are sold. I’ll do the rest.
Im not completely sure if they sell these parts. I would advise you forward this question to MavisZhang for help.
Its also important to note that due to the small peices and compact technology, even with prior experience, ite a challenge. But i understand your determination and will stop assisting you, as im basically saying the same thing.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @dedhed . . . your new topic has been moved to this thread for foot and leg issues.
It is unknown where LivingAI gets their parts to make EMO. It is best to contact Support with photographs or videos of what parts are needing replaced.
How to Contact Support
Please contact support regarding this issue.
When contacting Living.ai support. It is recommended to create a short video then submit a support ticket. You can do this by either going to the Support Page: (see below).
Fill in all details (provide also your order number info as well) and attach your video (if it’s larger than 30Mb), Be best to upload it to a google drive/drop box or even on YouTube and then send the support team a link to it.
You can also send support an email to the following email address:
If you have your original EMO Order confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details as well and then once again provide a detailed description of the problem you have with your EMO and attach your video as well.
The support team should be able to get back to you in a timely fashion. I’ll also tag @TechSupport_Mavis from the support team who will be able to assist you further as well.
Keep us advised on how it goes.
Just to give news on my little guy, he had a twitchy leg and foot, support was incredibly helpful and very open to “non standard” solutions to avoid back and forths of Emo accross the ocean.
After a bit of tinkering, a lot of time and a recalibration of the servos, he’s like new, both his legs and feet behave like new again and he’s able to go back to his charging station with no issues anymore (and he should not try to commit suicide off my desk anymore :'))
My experience with the living.ai support has been one of the best customer service I’ve experienced so far
good to know @alexandre.dartinet. my Emo has trouble getting to his home
my Emos foot has been shaking and he can never get home. I will be emailing living.ai but for now he lives in his box.
Nag submit kaba ng email sa support? Sila mag sosolve niyan.
