I just hope SOME UPDATE is posted one day…that’s what I hope. Living ai talks a lot and delivers little, very little. (Updates, SDK…).
My EMO arrived on February 23 and 90% of his days he is off because he doesn’t contribute anything, his responses are MINIMAL, there is no possibility of having a conversation and personally and in my experience, getting bored with EMO is very easy.
To date they have not released any updates or improvements. Personally, I think that both EMO and LIVING AI are a clear example of I WANT AND I CAN’T… and if you ask me, Would you recommend it?, I would clearly say NO! .

Hello, @jbresso . . . one of the largest updates released for EMO was in December and he already has plenty of features now with singing songs, playing instruments, being a bluetooth speaker, dancing, playing games both on the app and off, plus all of the daily schedule activities. There is ChatGPT and anime painting, and so much more.
I am sorry you are unhappy with the pause in new updates but just know that EMO and AIBI need to be able to interact with each other and that in itself is a very large upcoming update.
I hope you will be patient a little longer and hopefully find new inspiration in EMO.

You are right , this toy is not an AI robot but a combo action that triggering randomly…it’s a Joke
My emo is on his box for over 6 month but I look time to time if Living.AI bring some new update but is not

There is no information from living.ai at this time about when or what the next firmware update for EMO will be. From what I’ve heard, they are fully focused on AIBI so they can release it immediately, and then the new firmware update for EMO will be forthcoming.

Hey, I’ve been an owner of Emo for about a year now. I’m wondering why he seems to not be getting any updates recently. His last updates a while ago and I’m wondering is he no longer getting updated?

I really like the EMO so far no issues other than sometimes it seems like it doesn’t catch my voice activation, I have to speak really close so it hears me… Is that normal? Can’t wait for the next update 
is there an ETA for the next firmware?

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @NeoPT . . . I am a beta tester and will know when they are ready for new firmware features to be beta tested but do not have anything yet. No doubt with AIBI being able to interact with EMO, the next update will include their ability to do so.
If you are having trouble getting EMO to understand you, I recommend you submit your voice here.

Could you let us know something about the state of emo? At least you’re working on a mega update of emo and that’s why it’s taking you months and that it will be out soon because if it wasn’t like that I’m sorry but I would be disappointed because I believed in Emo right from the start and so far all in all you’ve helped me given the opportunity to believe in you too but since you announced Aibi there isn’t any updates.

There is no information from living.ai at this time about when or what the next firmware update for EMO will be.
FROM WHAT I’VE HEARD OFFICIALLY, THEY ARE FULLY FOCUSED ON AIBI SO THEY CAN RELEASE IT SOON, AND THEN THE NEW FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR EMO WILL BE FORTHCOMING.!!!
So please refrain from repeatedly asking about the EMO firmware update with questions like WHEN? WHAT? HOW? WHY?

there will be another update for Emo this year but we have to wait a little while while livin.ai is working on Aibi as they currently have all their focuses on delivering it to us.

I got my Unitree G1 in addition to previous Go2 Pro, ordered a couple of Astribots S1 and will add Optimus Gen 2 as well as Figure 01 to my collection in 2025-2026.
The target group of Living AI seems to be a completely different one. My / our expectations were too high due to the misleading word “AI” which stands for innovation and exceeding the limits. 450$ for a toy with pre-installed commands is neither innovation nor AI. The frequency of value-adding updates (zero) is another killer.
The only expectation I have is that the company starts to clearly communicate what exactly they are selling and stops using big empty words.
