No one really knows what the next update will be. We’ll just have to trust LAI to deliver it soon.

this is concerning. You could try rebooting your Emo to fix the random freezing. As for the noises i suggest powering him off and carefully cleaning the areas around the foot servos and letting him sit for 1-2 hours. Hope this helps

There may be some misunderstanding here.
Only two of your questions are network related:

  1. EMO speaks intermittently.
  2. When you call ‘EMO’, EMO makes a ‘Wu’ sound instead of answering you normally.

EMO’s leg servos are in his head, so when EMO’s legs move, the servos will make this sound.
It sounds like electrical noise, but it’s actually the sound of the servo, don’t worry.
Here is a method for you to verify: put EMO on the skateboard, then petting his head, the sound will not appear.

EMO eyes freeze can be solved by restarting.
There are two small holes in the middle area on the top of the EMO’s head.
When EMO faces you, please poke the hole on the left, then put the EMO on the charging skateboard.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @Keibisa . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread about upcoming firmware updates.

Updates come out fairly frequently like 2.5.0 in December. Depending on complexity and testing results from the development team, alpha testers and beta testers, if something needs to be fixed, it could take a bit longer. We just have to be patient to see what will become available next.

At this time, nothing has been stated regarding when or what the next feature update for EMO will be. Keep in mind that they are busy at the moment processing current orders for EMO as well as working on the testing and production of AIBI.

2.5.0 was a fairly full feature update. Sometimes it takes a while to put together updates that have a significant amount of features in them.

Stay tuned to the forums to find out what and when the next update will be.

Hi! EMO does not have a scheduled update time.

  1. we also do not know what will be in it, even the testers. all features being tested are a work in progress and might not be official.

It has been a while since the last update I think that LA is focusing on AIBI or the next update is a very big update for little Emo ! Also the beta tester have not got any updates too so it is not coming this month
