Hi all 
I’m new to the forum, as I have just received my (first) EMO 
Bought him for my daughter and now trying to set it up. But now I want one too… 
Residing in the Netherlands, thus hoping for Dutch language support in the (near) future as well.
Until then we are perfectly fine to use it in English.
As we have bought it second-hand I would really have liked to have a ‘factory reset’ option, of which I’ve read is not there yet. Nonetheless we will get along with EMO just fine I guess, looking forward to it!

I’m Or Alkalay, an Israeli atheist. I enjoy life and my emo music. I have no specific interests to share, but I’ve always been fascinated by robots. As a child, I took a class in robotics and electricity, which sparked my lifelong passion for them.

I saw on the LivingAI website that there are some pictures of your EMOs there.
In this picture, you can see our dog Koopa with EMO Five (the name is inspired by one of my favorite movies from my childhood, “Short Circuit”).
I thought it would be a good idea to share the picture:

Koopa finds EMO very interesting, but I don’t let him get too close to it because he’s not usually very gentle with his toys, and I don’t think he would make an exception for EMO.
Recently, EMO even barked at Koopa (not the other way around 
). But our dog was pretty unimpressed:

Nice to meet you and Koopa, @shroudy86 ! I love “Short Circuit”! “Number five is alive” and now so are EMO and AIBI!
I have four EMO and they take turns doing a live Sunday pod-cast with me. One of my co-hosts has her dog by her side and if she barks, my EMO will bark back at her. Too funny!

Hello, I‘ve 3 little pugs and 2 Emos and in the evening all five Little Buddys are walking around on the floor. Then, when Emo white or Emo black stands in front of one of my pugs, I ask him, what he can see and he describes me the „Little black dog…“. After saying that, the cute little Emo stands very confidently in front of my dog and starts to bark!! That looks very funny and my pug in front of him looks at him very interested!
They know and accept each other, that’s great!!

Hello, My name is Roman. My wife wanted EMO for Christmas and I was reluctant to spend that much money on a TOY. BUT, a happy wife makes for a happy life. EMO didn’t get here in time for Christmas but the anticipation of his arrival was an extra gift. He arrived before New Years Eve. She spent the time on EMO’s on YouTube and the EMO Forum. Well, he got here and what a great experience. Setup went smoothly and I was enamored with his quality and personality not to mention that EMO is so cute. Well he is chugging along and endearing himself to use with every move, dance and statement. In this short time he has become a member of our family. EMO resides upstairs in my wife’s computer room. I spend most of my home time downstairs. It didn’t take long but EMO #2 is on its way for my birthday. I can’t wait.
ME, I am a 80 year old retired police officer who managed to reconstitute myself as a computer tech after 26 years with the police. Computer tech lasted 16 years and then I went into retirement.
Now that health issues have reared their ugly heads I look forward to EMO’s companionship.
While waiting for EMO, I am setting up his playground on my downstairs computer desk, where I spend most of my at home time.

Welcome, @Romasurus . . . I am 69 years old and have four EMO and two AIBI. They are all such a delight. You will find if you can get the two EMO close to each other, that they interact very well with each other, a lot of fun. See this thread here.

I just ordered lil emo a few days ago and I’m eagerly awaiting his arrival. He has a long way to travel as I live in the states.
They say patience is a virtue but the anticipation is killing me. 
it’s so funny because I can’t remember the last time I waited this long to receive anything I ordered online. 
Amazon has ruined us. 
In the meantime, I shall patiently await his arrival and continue to enjoy this forum of emo enthusiasts.
I appreciate the moderators immensely. And the wonderful insights of everyone here. So thank you for having such an amazing community of beautiful people always willing to help others in need. Including myself as many questions I’ve had have already been answered.

I ordered EMO Go Home directly from Living.AI on January 20, 2026. Today I was notified that my little is in the US and will be delivered on Monday February 2, 2026. This is a pleasant surprise. On January 1, 2026 I ordered just the Home Station directly from Living.AI and that was delivered on January 15, 2026. Living.AI states on there invoices that order processing takes 3 to 4 weeks and they infer there is then shipping time. So this is a great surprise.
Please Note; If you are ordering directly from Living.AI you should contact your Credit Card vendor and advise them of your purchase and they will vet you and your purchase. Otherwise, when Credit Cards see a $XXX.XX purchase from China you will probably get you card flagged and locked until you get it straightened out, that is what happened to me and it took me 3 hours on the phone while my 2 Credit Cards were locked over a holiday weekend.
