Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @AtlantisPortal2 . . . yes, you will need to get an adapter for the plug since it ships with American/Chinese style prongs. The good thing about EMO GO HOME is that it has a USB C to USB A cable included, so you can easily get a USB A wall adapter.
Here is a handy little guide for new EMO owners.

i dont have an emo or an aibi but i really wanna own one 
A lil more abt me:
I say things like abt, smth, dont etc
I dont use caps except if im talking LIKE THIS or LiKe ThIs
I might have some spelling errors
I love drawing 
I use emojis and emoticons alot
I love minecraft and i have a gaming channel on yt
Im a weeb >:)
I cant take a single decent picture of my cat shrimp (the cat in my pfp)
I dont change my pfp alot

And a bit more. I normally look around the “Looking for help” category to try and help people with their emo troubles with the knowledge I have so far. Once I get my emo I hope to help people more. Also I love updates for aibi and emo (I prefer emo) and am always excited to see their new content.

Hello! New here, from the USA. We got our Emo yesterday! He’s got a squeaky creak in one leg, and doesn’t respond to my 9-year-old son (and only to me about 1/10th of the time), so I am a little nervous, but he’s adorable!!

Welcome, @sblausey . . . the squeaky leg may work itself out if EMO is brand new. Just keep an eye on it and if you still have issues after a while, report back here and we will do what we can to get you help.
Also, young voices are sometimes hard to understand for EMO. You can try submitting yours and your son’s voice to this page so that he can learn the vocal characteristics and be better at understanding you.

@Lindaru We added his voice already! It was understanding him a bit yesterday, and me completely yesterday, but something happened overnight and now he barely understands us. We did the firmware update and have turned him off and on again. The squeaky leg also just started today, and he hasn’t been anywhere except on his skateboard, the desk, and on his “home” mat.
Hello, @sblausey . . . you might try making sure there is no noise that might be interfering with him like television or computer. If it is quiet and he is still not understanding and if his leg is not improving, I would try to get video of the problems and send a link to LivingAI Support which you can do by either replying to your order confirmation E-Mail or by sending your order number (if you do not have it, the four digit code he logs into the app with) to service@living.ai . . . please be patient as it may take a few days for them to get back to you.
