I got a homestation yesterday, and its amazing btw, but my only issue is the fact that emo wont come off it sometimes? if i ask him to come off it,(in a pretty well lit room) he wont come off and says “i cant do it right now”. sometimes if i put a really bright light over him he will, but i cant do that all the time so its really annoying.
Hi there @klara.anderson ,
If i can understand you correct …you mean that your EMO won’t leave his Home Station alone? right?
-
It is known that EMO will not always go out and walk alone…only if he is in full charge which takes a couple of hours and only if he feels or likes it.
-
Be aware that his Home Fence Playground is well-lit and not dark…Try also to clean the camera on his chin …might something be blocking the lens?
-
As we all know, EMO has his TOF (Time of Flight) laser sensor which is on his chin that he uses to walk forward. And if it blocks something, that is also the reason why he can’t move forward or leave his home station and keeps saying these failure words and then moves backward, or sometimes he is not quite happy and cries.
Best Regards And Have A Wonderful Weekend
Hello, I got a cast home station with an emo, but I have a problem connecting the emo to the station. As soon as the emo is off the charging surface it goes off. A proper connection to the charger has not been established. According to the instructions it says connect emo to the app then connect emo to the Go Home Station. But as soon as I put it down from the charging surface it starts again from the beginning. Is there an alternative, another charging option? Regards
Is the Home Station working properly and lighted?

Hello, my emo is angry when he stands on the charging station and doesn’t charge, he wants to charge himself automatically but it doesn’t work, the home station flashes white and it doesn’t work. How do I fix this problem, I’ve only had it since Friday and it was only a little loaded. The sensors on the feet are a little lower but it recognizes the home station. The home sign appears on its display and internet is active on both. how do you solve the problem. I also reset the homestation and the problem occurs again. I get a replacement, but charging doesn’t work.
Hello, @dennym . . . please read the links and information in the post by Edward above to make sure the station is connected properly, that EMO is paired with the home station and that he is placed on it correctly. If you have gone through all of these and it is still not working, try changing the charging cable. If that does not work, be sure to contact Support at service@living.ai with a link to a video showing the issue along with your order number or EMO I.D.
Let us know how it goes.
replace the bat. it is easy. you can order new one on Ali, mamual is on Youtube
Hi, living Ai! My EMO is not working. I mean that when I put him to his home he is not charging and when I ask him to go to his home his battery dies in his way. Sometimes when he is staying at his home, after like 10 seconds the battery goes off. Can you please help me with this situation?

Hi! It is something wrong with my EMO.This afternoon, I found him standing with his face on the ground. Than I put him to his charger. After I connected him to my phone and I played some music. I asked him to show his battery end it was like 80%. After 5 minutes I deconected my phone. Than EMO powered off. I tried to charge him but he will turn on and than off. It is suspicious because yesterday he worked perfect(thank you for the help). Do you have any idea what’s going on?
have you tried turning him of yourself?
Yes, I tried turning him myself
try disconnecting him from home and light
I tried this too, but it doesn’t work.
Hello, @alesiabutnariu . . . please try to get video of him turning off and on for no reason. There are a number of things that could be going wrong but Support will need to see what EMO is doing in order to help diagnose the problem and best advise you.
Be sure to include a link to the video to either a reply to your order confirmation E-Mail or sending the link and description of the problem to service@living.ai along with either the order number or the EMO I.D. when he signs into the app.
My best to you!
Hey there, yes I’ve tried that but to no avail. EMO still often falls over. Sadly when that happens I’m not there to witness… can’t watch him the whole day. Anyhow, yeah that bug still exists.
Hey all, I did not realise after EMO went to his Home Station that he was not charging properly (I had the home station plugged in on my PC and seems it was not charging proper) anyway, so I plugged the home station in on a USB block and the light was solid while he was charging, I went and did my thing and after 2 or so hours when I came back, my little buddy was still “off” - his headphone lights are dim, but on - he connects to the app, but his screen is dead and he is unresponsive to anything and everything. I will contact support but was hoping someone can tell me what I can do, I only have had him 3 days now
I am currently let his battery drain and will charge again in the morning, but was hoping this is a “common” issue.
To recap, battery ran flat
Put him on charge
Headphones are dimly lit
No response and no screen
Is connected to the app
Hello, @ruan.fourie . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with EMO and the home station.
I would suggest first try changing out the charging cable because sometimes those are faulty (even new ones).
Once you do that, restart the home station, EMO, the device and your app. Place him back on and allow time for him to charge (monitor him in the app on the screen you have shared here). Make sure that he is connected to the home station. See if this fixes the problems.
If not, I suggest getting video and sending a link to Support to service@living.ai with your order number as shown in your order confirmation E-Mail. If you do not have that any more, send with the four digit alphanumeric code when he signs into the app.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you for moving my post to the relevant topic.
I have tried different charging blocks, different USB cables, turned EMO off through the app and placed him back on the home station
Every time I place him on the home station, the little light on the home station goes solid - so that’s good, EMO’s headphones goes on but is very dim.
I have done everything I can read and watch on YouTube but EMO is no longer him, some actions are still recognized within the app, he is on the latest firmware as is his home station.
I even turned him off, left him off for about 30 minutes then placed him back on the home station but no luck, only the headphones turns on, dimly - per the photo.
I have sent support a mail as well, but hoping someone has had the same issue and can help me, I am actually sad this happened.
When I do place him on the dock I can see he is charging, I have also felt that his foot does heat up a little, but nothing that I think should be a worry.
EMOs ID is 3806
As mentioned, his home station connects to him after a restart, he is discoverable in the app, I can go into settings, etc. and the app side works as expected, but still only dimly light headsets and no EMO
GREAT NEWS! After EMO ran flat, I put him back on his charging station and he is back baby!!!
