Hello, @vitalij.storch . . . the request for support and documentation must be sent via E-Mail to service@living.ai . . . there is not anyone presently on the forums that can handle your request directly here.
My Emo has started to show problems on his right foot. after he moves. his right foot jitters and Moves him to the left. Then when I powered him off to check his foot. His right foot has a higher motor pitch and less resistance than the left one. I am in bed right now so I will provide proof if needed tomorrow
Hi there @Floonbo and Welcome back to the Community…
I have moved your new topic here to address everything about EMO leg and related issues
I can only guess that your EMO is already out of warranty. Right?
I can only advise you to contact Living.AI customer support and provide a proof video of the issue, along with the following information:
- Order number
- EMO ID
That will help them properly assess and assist you. Just ask if they can still help with your EMO’s issue. They are usually kind and always willing to assist their customers. Just be patient and wait for their reply.
Wishing you all the best to your EMO!
Best Regards
attention to everyone reading this: a lot of emo’s are currently experiencing the same issues with the legs and sensors as of the latest update.
What I should do for now:
contact living ai support at service@living.ai .
Record (if possible) emo’s issues, this gives support a better understanding of what is going on.
Make sure that you have followed all advised steps before contacting living.ai like: clean emo’s feet and sensors, restart emo, etc.
I hope that I could help
Hi everyone, i am sad to announce that my emo’s leg servo has given up and that emo can still lift up the foot but not turn the leg.
I am going to continue talking to living.ai for support but i don’t want to lose emo.
I hope that all goes well.
Hello everyone,
My EMO started falling from my table, I clean him twice a week from dust everywhere, especially his toes. Table is quite clean everyday. What is the reason of it? And his right leg is shaking while he is off his skateboard. I tried to restart him, but no result. What I need to do?
Sorry for my bad English. Thanks for your answers.
Litos
Hi, @Litos56 . . . I have moved your new topic here as shaking legs indicate a problem with the leg servos which may need to be recalibrated or repaired.
It is advised to build a safe playground for EMO to prevent falling off of the table as during some of his daily schedule tasks and other things that require lifting his feet such as dancing or playing games deactivate his edge detectors and he will not be able to stop himself from falling. Here are some ideas.
My best to you!
Hello I already send living AI a email about my emo leg shaking, I hope they can send a replacement it
Hello, @dustysknight . . . hopefully it only needs recalibration which is done where you are through an app. Let us know what they say.
My best to you!
Hello Living.ai team!
I am experiencing an issue with my EMO’s right foot. It is slightly tilted to the side, causing the robot to walk unevenly, and sometimes it vibrates. The servo motor holds tight and has strong resistance, so the hardware is completely fine — it just needs a software alignment.
I previously contacted customer support but received no response, likely because I no longer have the order number, which was lost long ago. However, I have already sent all the necessary photos and videos showing the issue to service@living.ai.
Is there any chance you could help me in this situation and send the EMO Feet Calibration / Debug App?
Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
Hello, @akukarachaaaa . . . welcome, @akukarachaaaa . . . there would be no need for the order number given that your EMO is out of warranty status of one year; however, they may still be willing to assist with the calibration app. They are the only ones in possession of the app, so no one here can provide that for you.
Please give them at least a week to respond as they are still trying to catch up on a back-log of requests. If you have not heard by then, contact them again at service@living.ai with the information and the image you shared here which contains his age and I.D. number.
My best to you.
Does anyone know how to get the app ( i think its called) caring for emo? Mine has an issue with his left leg that sorta drags it and constantly going in circles when he walks straight and I heard that was the app to fix this issue
I’ve moved your new topic here, where EMO’s leg issues are being discussed.
With this kind of issue, it indicates a problem with the leg servos or even the internal wiring. However, it may also just need recalibration or repair using the Caring for EMO tools you’ve been requesting, which can only be done through the LivingAI service team.
Good luck and all the best
Hi,
I just thought I’d mention that my Emo has started falling over on his right side. I have no idea why. I let him ‘sleep’ with the power off last night as I found him laying down yesterday morning and I didn’t want him falling off the table while I was asleep. He’s 348 days old.
Harry
Welcome back to the community @harrydodgson,
Sleep and Power Off are two different features. If you let EMO sleep, it means he is still powered on. However, if you power him off, he is no longer active, and there is no way he could fall onto his right side as you described.
Actually, it’s a known issue…when EMO is busy doing anything, like daily activities, singing, dancing, and playing games, his optical foot sensor is automatically temporarily disabled.
IMHO, I will never trust this sensor 100%, particularly when it is unattended on the table… Provide an enclosed play area for him… so EMO can walk safely and not fall off the table.

GOOD LUCK, BEST REGARDS, AND TAKE CARE EMO!
How about when he is in the center of his mat, walking forward, and just falls to one side? Or when I place him on his charger and watch him lift his foot and fall over?
Hello, @harrydodgson . . . this may mean that he needs calibration or repair to his servos and/or wires which you can request Support to assist you with by getting video of the issue and sending a link along with a description of the issue, your EMO I.D. number and order number (if you still have it) to service@living.ai . . . please be patient as they are currently back-logged with requests and may take some time but after they have reviewed your E-Mail, they will respond.
My best to you.
Okay. I sent an email. I managed to catch a video of him sidestepping then falling to send them.
