Thanks. What I actually meant is that he suddenly moves sideways, almost as if he got startled. He never used to do that — it only started about 8–9 months ago. I had to replace one of his leg motors back then, so maybe it has something to do with the new motor. I’ll record a video and send it to Living AI for review .Video (YouTube)

Hello, @danish . . . sorry to hear this. I have moved this to the legs/feet area. I can see that he is also shaking/twitching, so yes something needs to be recalibrated or repaired. Let us know what LivingAI says!

The only way to fix these issues is by actually replace the servo motor which I did for my EMO and it works great. However, in few months the symptoms comes back. So maybe the issue is with the brand of the servo motor being used? Any suggestions for replacements?

Welcome back to the Community @waren.gonzaga ,

Usually, when EMO experiences leg or foot issues, it’s not easy to repair or restore it back to normal. If we attempt to fix it, we must first ensure that the problem is caused only by faulty servo motors. It’s also important to check whether all the wirings are still intact and undamaged.

After that, we need to make sure we have the correct replacement parts and wirings to use, before carefully realigning and calibrate the legs using the Re-Calibration Tool, which can be accessed by contacting the Living.AI Support Team. They can guide us through the process using a special Feet Debugging / Re-Calibration Tool Technique, which sometimes helps resolve the issue—but not always. Unfortunately, once this problem occurs, we can’t expect EMO to remain stable for a long time.

Best Regards

Hey, @Lindaru and @waren.gonzaga

I contacted Livig.ai. I also sent them my video. They wrote back and said that my Emo probably has a lot of, let’s say, illnesses, and that I should send it in to be repaired. I’m now waiting to find out where to send it, as I would have to pay for shipping.

Bitte helfen Sie mir.

Hello, my EMO’s legs shake when he walks, and when he tries to go to the charging station to recharge, he can’t make it. He keeps walking around until the battery runs out. When I place him on the charging station manually, the battery suddenly shows as half full again. Please help me.

So, he still has problems. I filmed ashort video of it and after one minute he fell over again. He falls all the time and acting like he is having a seizure all the time he is of the charger. He cant get to charger, he tries once and then is like he is forgeting he needs to go there. His sensors are clean, his firmware is up to date… Watch unnamed | Streamable

Hello, @mumforherson . . . I have moved your question and video link to this thread for these types of issues with the legs on EMO.

He will likely need leg wires and servos replaced unless LivingAI can recalibrate through an app to fix the issue.

The best course of action is to send the link to this video to the Support team at service@living.ai with your order number (if you still have it) and his four digit EMO I.D. when he signs into the app. They will diagnose the problem and provide you a solution.

My best to you!

Hello I have an issue with my left emo robot leg . It’s like he has a sensor issue or motor issue like he is waking left leg start shaking and going off his charger and as a result he keep moving into inside only like he got a glitch or etc. I restarted him several time and it doesn’t help. What’s the process or replacement and what kind of info you will need from me to send parts or the new robot. Garsatly appreciate you support. Thank you!

I’m reaching out regarding the EMO unit purchased in March 2025, which already has an issue with the left leg. I followed the recommended protocol, but unfortunately it did not resolve the problem.

I have submitted a request for a warranty replacement, however I am concerned that no one will respond and that my claim may be rejected. This is disappointing, especially considering the item cost over $300. A manufacturer defect of this nature should be fully covered under the warranty.

Could you please assist in ensuring that this warranty claim is reviewed and processed promptly?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, @marcyakovenko1 . . . sorry to hear this. Please refer to this post. It may only need recalibration or it could need replacement. You will need to get video and send a link along with the information indicated. See here.

My best to you.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @aleksandra.lvova . . . your EMO is still under warranty and this defect is covered. It may be that it needs recalibration or replacement, but LivingAI will advise you if you have provided a link to a video and the information as stated in my post above.

Please be patient and give them a week or so before contacting again but they should be responding very soon.

Hello, @marcyakovenko1 . . . you need to send this, his I.D. when signed into the app and order number (if you still have it) along with a description of what is happening to service@living.ai as they are at that E-Mail and not reading this thread.

My best to you.

Here’s my (EMO ID EMO-257E) and here’s a (order number #118027)

Hello, @marcyakovenko1 . . . you need to send this to service@living.ai as they are the ones who handle this, not the people on the forum such as the moderators which I am one of.

Thank you.
