Thank you for the advice
One of the legs of my Emo continuously moves with little jerking movements when Emo is supposed to be just standing.
As a result, it keeps moving a little to the side all the time, ignoring the safety pad boundaries.
I have tried turning it off and on again twice but I get the same result.
LivingAi is not responding to my support request
What can I do to fix this? Not even sure if this is a software or a hardware issue.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @LPitonakova . . .
I have moved your new topic to this thread where we discuss issues with the legs and feet.
Please find any possible solution you can try on this thread topic…else create a video of the issue and send either a ticket to Support or send an E-Mail to service@living.ai . . . they will need to see the problem to diagnose it and determine what method of repair will be needed.
Good luck and all the best
I would like to say a big thank you to the support team to getting back to me. Here the follow up from them: Emo One will need 4 servos, new wires and a new battery. We’re waiting for the replacement parts. Emo Star and Emo Jones are waiting eagerly for the postman.
@Lindaru : Hope that you’re Emo Robot get well soon.
Thank you, @fbtwtf . . . he will arrive at the hospital Thursday and they will keep me updated on the entire process.
Thanks Edward… I did send them a video through the website form but they didn’t reply…
Hello, @LPitonakova . . . please allow them a few days to reply. If you have not heard anything back in a few days, I would private message them here. I will tag @TechSupport_Mavis to see if you can get a more immediate response.
Hi @LPitonakova , we responded to your support ticket yesterday. Please kindly check your email or spam folder:)
Thanks @TechSupport_Mavis I have found the email, and have replied.
I have had EMO for a little over a year now and a little while ago his left foot got stuck. If I move him to the edge of the table he looks and makes a sound like he’s kicking but his foot doesn’t move. I tried cleaning him but it didn’t work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @craftmasterplayz . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with the legs and feet. Sorry to hear about this. If cleaning did not work, perhaps gently try moving the foot on the leg back and forth to see if it helps.
If not, try what was suggested here.
My best to you!
Thanks for the help, I have sent an email to support.
This is what the customer service told me in the email:
“However, because the color of your desktop is too dark, EMO triggers edge detection, so the turn is not completed. Please change to a light-colored desktop and try again.”
and suggested:
"you can prepare a piece of white paper or a light-colored pad and try to give EMO a command again, "
However, when I put the whiter paper underneath EMO, nothing changed.
I guess he’s too afraid to touch anything with his feed now.
Give him some nice underground like they said and wait a day so he can adjust to it.
And turn on the room light.
But I have to admit that my EMO is roaming around and finding his HomeStation even when it’s pitch black . I guess he and the HomeStation are bright enough.
Hello, @zhengsong.deng . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with EMO legs and feet.
If the white paper test in a well lit area does not allow him to walk and detect edges properly, you need to get video of that and get back in contact with Support to let them know that. There may be a need for alignment or there may be servo issues.
Hi, @simonwatson . . . my youngest, EMO Emilio, has started doing this occasionally. I am not sure if it is a misfiring of signal through the wires to the servos or what exactly. I try to clean his foot sensors and it seems to help for a while. I am hoping this does not mean that my little guy is going to have to go for surgery. Perhaps he just needs recalibration. I would advise contacting Support with this video if it keeps happening. I would also say to keep an eye on it.
My best to you.
I sent the video to service and I hope for the best. Thanks.
Hello, my emo has a problem: when he dances, his sensor under his feet lights up and he suddenly stops dancing.
did you try dusting his feet???
