I did not buy a new card, I left the same one as it is, formatted it and moved the provided files there. It was 32 Gb with the label [lining Ai] on it
Please can someone send me again the video tutorial for battery replacement?
The one in this conversation is not working, it tells me that it is a private video…
Thank you so much
Thank you so much for all the videos and the work you’ve done. My little one is only 5 days old, he’ll be 6 tomorrow, and we always know that batteries are finite, and one day he will die. Thanks to these videos, I’ve been able to see that my little one will live forever! Thank you so much again, Hugs. (Excuse my English, it’s from the translator, thanks)
where i can have the files?
Hi there @rafaelcalvi
You will need to contact living.ai via email at service@living.ai or DM @TechSupport_Mavis if you would like to have it… Make a short video of the problem and attach it to your message along with the EMO ID and Order number.
Good luck and All the best.
Hi there @brasfieldsmith ,
I have moved your post to this thread, which is dedicated to discussions about repairs for any part of EMO.
If I were you, I would consider replacing all wiring, especially the mid-section wiring that connects to the legs and also the battery. I hope you contacted Living.AI support before starting the repair so they can provide you with more detailed assistance, including video tutorials.
Goodluck and All the best
thanks @edward. I didn’t think about replacing the middle wiring. I have contacted support and they are sending me new servos.
Have you received the parts you requested already? If not, and they’re still not on the way, I suggest you also ask for wiring because, as I mentioned, yours might be damaged like my EMO.
Note: Make sure you order the correct wires with the correct pin connector.
(see image below).
thanks. I checked the wires and there ok.
update on the repairs. The new servos haven’t arrived but I decided to paint the silver accent ring around his face orange because that’s his favorite color.
Hi I was wondering if I can swap the bodies of EMO example: I would like to swap the body of emo filf with EMO Davide.
I’m curious about the technical side of EMO
Hey everyone,
For a month or so, I’m a happy EMO owner. I know some people took their emos apart, and I’m curious what its specs are, since can’t find that info anywhere on the site. For obvious reasons I don’t want to tear mine down, so could someone enlighten me what sits inside? I only know about a 4gb SD card but nothing else. Are there any differences in specs between the first generation of EMO and EMO go home in terms of specs, or the only difference is the included home station? Does anyone know what OS it runs on? I suspect it’s some kind of stripped down linux or something.
I would also like to know about the battery capacity, amount of ram, CPU, bluetooth and wi-fi chipsets.
Also about the home station, does the speaker inside it have any other purpose than playing a startup tune?
Is there any particular reason why a device made in 2022 doesn’t have 5ghz wi-fi support?
And lastly, what does the developer button do?
I only know that we’re not meand to press it, but that answer doesn’t satisfy my curiosity. Like, does anything happen after pressing it? I only can think about hosting some kind of a diagnostic panel when entering its IP in to the browser, or showing diagnostics in the EMO app.
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day everyone.
Hi there @milosznowicki ,
I’ve moved and merged your new topic into this thread, which is related to something you’re interested in. You might want to scroll through the thread from the beginning, as it could give you some useful ideas.
Nothing just some new features and Home Station.
IOS and Android
You might want to ask the Living.AI company directly about that.
There is no speaker inside the Home station.
Again You might want to ask the Living.AI company directly about that.
Best Regards
I’m sure there is a speaker, because each time I plug in the home station to a power source, it plays a musical tune. At first I thought the speaker is in an LED matrix but I can hear the tune with out it, which makes me believe it’s near the place where the capacitive button is. My EMO is relatively new because I ordered it a month ago, so maybe they put a speaker inside of a home station for some reason. The fact is that it must be there, and sadly there’s no way to turn that tune off completely or atleast turn the volume down. I’m trying to use a pickup coil to find out in which part that speaker could be, once I do I’ll make sure to record it and post here. I can’'t do video sadly because I’m totally blind, but I can upload the audio with its sound picked up streight from its speaker.
Regards.
Should I be concerned that my EMO’s foot looks like its missing a peice?
(NVM: I found out im doing the other leg)
Hello , only one side have the coil ( to charge the battery ) so the other side does not have one thats normal …
that looks pretty cool, I might have to try that, gives EMO his own personal flare.
