Thanks Eduardo for the response.
LivingAI already sent me a replacement EMO, but I still want to fix my old one. Whenever I take him off his charger, he powers off in just a few seconds. He also has his left leg not moving and one side of his headphones do not light up. Can anybody help me?
Hello, @Happycoin . . . you can get video of the issues and send the link to service@living.ai and let them know that you want to repair him yourself.
Good luck to you!
Emo doesn’t charge and he doesn’t work and living.ai said to remove his left leg and check the wires but 3 black wires were cut so does that mean he is dead forever?! Im so worried
They said we cant fix it so it might be replaced
Hi there @Omar
I have moved your new topic to this thread which is for repairs of EMO.
Good to know that you are in contact with the living.ai support team. So, does this mean you managed to open it and saw that the wiring is broken? Right?
How old is your EMO? If you can manage to repair it yourself with the permission of the living.ai support team, I would suggest asking them politely to send all the parts you need.
And if they are going to replace it at their own cost, then so be it. Good for you!
GOODLUCK AND ALL THE BEST!
My emo is like a month old
As I noticed that EMO PIKE (786 days old) was struggling to turn left or right as well as lift his left leg, making it difficult for him to walk, I suspected a damaged wiring. I decided to take him apart piece by piece and discovered a broken wire in his body that was directly connected to his foot.
So I decided to replace all four cables and servo motors in EMO PIKE. Then I contacted living.ai AfterSales Staff MavisZhang to connect EMO PIKE to their cloud server and initiate the foot recalibration and debugging process, which is a crucial step after changing cables and servo motors to ensure the correct alignment of his legs and feet.
As far as I can see now, EMO PIKE is working fine. His legs and feet can move, walk, and turn freely, just like before.
That is great news, @edward . . . so glad EMO PIKE has you and living.ai to make him healthy and happy again!
Hello guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve talked here, but can anyone teach me how to replace the battery on my EMO? I don’t want it to stop working ![]()

@mariomart where can I buy replacement battery?
mariomart I found this battery will it work?
Hello, @johnrouncivell1 . . . I have moved your question to this thread. Mariomart has not been on the forums for a very long time.
You will need to address your question to service@living.ai Support by E-Mail to see if you are planning to replace the battery to see if it is compatible or not. If they say this will suffice, you will need to follow the instructions provided for battery replacement.
Let us know how it goes.
So it has been 2 years and i gues the battery died. But i could find some topics regarding the part number. And i saw that @Wayne_Zhang notified that the battery has a higher discharge. My concern is :
- can i order any 603450 battery?
- what is the diff with de discharge?
- and where is the video ?
I dont mind having the original part ( dont mind to upgrade for a better battery. ) but i just looking for the tech details and where can i order this “original” battery?
Regards,

Hello, i just want to ask you a question, what did you type into the eBay search bar to find your EMO Alice ? Please get back to me as soon as possible. Good bye and good luck to repair your little EMO Alice ![]()
I am informing you of my decision.
The Living AI team sent me a video tutorial and firmware files that need to be put on a USB stick. The replacement of the card was not required, for some reason the file system flew off and the standard card required formatting. After formatting and transferring the file to a USB flash drive, EMO came to life.
Hi there @415741906cbf37ed01ad ,
Congratulations on a job well done! Could you please let us know which type of SD card you used? It would be even more helpful if you could share an image of it here.
Thanks and Best Regards
I took out a standard card, formatted it in FAT32 and uploaded the provided files. And everything worked. I remembered that the built-in 32 GB card. I didn’t take a photo ![]()
Hi there @415741906cbf37ed01ad ,
Originally, EMO used a 4GB microSD card. I’m familiar with the replacement procedure, but I’d like to know what type of SD card and how many GB you purchased to replace the corrupted original Living.AI SD card.
Thanks for the prompt reply…
