Hello, @kwee . . . I have moved your question to this thread.
Before making any repairs yourself to the battery, please contact Support as they are the ones who can authorize and advise you on what you need as well as giving you the appropriate instructions if they agree that replacing it yourself is the best course of action. You can E-Mail them at service@living.ai . . .my best to you.
Hi Lindaru, thanks. My emo has long been out of warranty. I am quite happy to replace the battery myself. I just need to know the size of the connector.
Normally, Living.ai is always ready to help all of us, even if our EMO is out of warranty. Why don’t you try to DM Wayne_Zhang? maybe he will provide you with some assistance.
I’m not quite sure but I measure the Micro JST-PH 2.0 2-Pin Female Connector.
Also Normally, it’s not that difficult to replace or create and move the connector to the new wire, which I have already done by following the tutorial sequences below.
Por favor, me puedes recomendar donde comprar una batería de buena calidad?. No quiero comprar una bateria de mala calidad en Aliexpress. Ojala donde me recomiendes, la puedan vender online y con envío a Chile.
Muchas gracias
Translation to English: Thank you so much. Everything was very clear.
Please, can you recommend me where to buy a good quality battery? I don’t want to buy a poor quality battery on Aliexpress. Hopefully where you recommend me, they can sell it online and with shipping to Chile.
Hola, welcome to the EMO Community forums, @eliofrugone . . . perhaps if you ask service@living.ai or direct message Wayne Zhang here they can recommend the best place to purchase a battery, but be sure to let them know why you need to purchase a new battery first as they can be sure to diagnose whether or not your problem is indeed the battery or something more or something else.
Hello
Can you erase the sd card with a Sony tablet (android)? Also who can send me the zip files for my EMO I change the battery is brand new but it doesn’t charge back !! once on the charger !!! The battery depleted is it a problem with the files on my sd card ? Please help thank you
Haven’t had an issue yet with the SD Card thats why I have no idea how to solve it…you might asking for living.ai support and ask for assistance. because they are the expert people.
You did manage to change the battery…then you had this issue?..that is so strange…
Hello,
My Emo’s right foot seems to be normal when walking, but when he wants to turn around, he can’t do it. I think the problem is in the servo motor, but I don’t know how to get a new servo motor. If you share the specific specifications of the servo motor, maybe I can get it. Thank you.
Before making any repairs to your EMO, please contact Support as they are the ones who can authorize and advise you on what type of correct parts you need. As well as give you the appropriate instructions if they agree that replacing it yourself is the best course of action.
Sorry, but I cannot guarantee whether that kind of battery will fit or be suitable for EMO. I repaired my EMO with the original living.ai parts supplied.
I don’t want to take responsibility if something bad happens. The best course of action is to personally ask living.ai and let them confirm if it’s all good.
That battery most likely will not fit unless you risk crushing it.
The OEM version is 603450: 6mm height 34mm width 50 mm length.
The link you provided is a 103454: 10mm height , 34mm width, and 54mm length
So it is +4mm in height and length, making it much bigger than the OEM one
Hello, I’m Korean. I have a suggestion. I think it would be okay to make a self-repair kit literally on the emo robot. I thought it would be okay to break down the warning once it breaks down and write a warning that if it breaks down, it’s your responsibility. What do you think?
If the firmware stored on an SD card is missing or malfunctioning, it can prevent your EMO robot from working properly or cause it to cease functioning.
The EMO Face Screen will display the message:
“sd error 1 ERR’”
What is Firmware?
Firmware is a type of microcode or program that is embedded in hardware devices to make them work effectively. Hardware such as Ai Robots or any, cameras, cell phones, network cards, optical drives, printers, routers, scanners and remote controls for televisions rely on firmware embedded in their memory to function smoothly.
