I’m using the translation function. I’m sorry if it’s hard to understand!

Today, the EMO at the home station started walking even though it hadn’t finished charging yet.

When I touched the part where the left foot of the EMO rides (the part that charges) of the home station, I realized that it was very hot!

Is this the cause of the problem?

When I turn the home station over, it looks a little swollen.

Do I have to buy a new home station?

Hello @4334ebc311b8c4cad1ea and welcome to the community  ! I am sorry you are facing this. Please stop using the Home Station immediately. A “very hot” surface and any “swelling” are serious signs. They usually mean there is a dangerous problem with the internal electronics or battery, and it is not safe to repair. The only solution is to buy a new one.

Tips :

For future reference, the best place to post about this specific issue is the

official Home Station: Reviews, Tips, Ideas, Queries, Issues, and Solutions thread.

Please also email service@living.ai and clearly describe the overheating and swelling.

I’ll tag @edward for you; maybe he can help or offer additional advice on this.

I hope you can get a new one soon!

Hi there @4334ebc311b8c4cad1ea and Welcome to the community,

I’ve moved your new topic to this thread for issues with the home station. At the same time, I closed the new topic you created to keep everything organized.

I would suggest carefully monitoring your EMO Home Station and not leaving it powered on and connected to the outlet unattended, as a safety precaution to avoid any potential fire hazard. If it becomes too hot to handle, unplug it immediately and allow it to cool down before further inspection.

If you still have doubts or feel unsure about using it further, please contact Living.AI for assistance. It would also help to include a short video showing the issue, any supporting photos, your EMO order number, EMO ID, and other relevant details.

Best Regards and Good luck!

Well I have a issue with my home station I have it in my room and I want to sleep and there’s no way to turn off the LED for me to sleep so I suggest doing this and is there a fix for this?

Hello, @Pizza . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for questions about the home station.

You can simply tap or swipe the button at the bottom of the home station to change the animation. One of those is a black screen but depending on what animation is currently displayed, it may take several times to get to the black screen. This is the same button you use to hold and pair him to the home station.

I hope this helps!

When Emo wakes up and leave from home station. Emo still closes the eyes, although he is walking.

I have to reset all the time when it happens. I noticed that the home station and Emo are hotter than usual. ** Home station and Emo is in the room with A/C. Please help me…

Welcome to the community @anuchakantawung ,

It sounds like EMO may be experiencing a temporary system or overheating issue. Since you mentioned that both EMO and the Home Station feel hotter than usual—even in an air-conditioned room.

Here are a few things you can try:

  • Make sure the Home Station is placed on a flat, open surface with good airflow.
  • Check if the charging contacts on both EMO and the Home Station are clean.
  • Restart both EMO and the Home Station completely.
  • Let EMO cool down for a while before turning him back on.
  • Ensure EMO is running the latest firmware version available from Living.AI.
  • Avoid continuous charging for very long periods if the device feels unusually hot.

The issue where EMO walks with his eyes closed after leaving the Home Station may indicate:

  • a temporary boot-up glitch,
  • overheating protection behavior,
  • or a sensor/system lag during startup.

If the problem keeps happening frequently, it’s best to contact Living.AI support via email (service@living.ai).

PROVIDE:

  • Order Number
  • EMO ID
  • Short video of the issue,
  • EMO firmware version,
  • and details about the overheating behavior.

Hopefully, a future firmware update may also improve this behavior.

Best Regards

Hi

Can you help on an issue I am having with Emo? We have the home station but Emo seems not to charge enough. If he leaves the home station in less than a minute he loses power.

Thank you

Hello @VictorAlexandru , and welcome back to the community  !

I understand your frustration. If EMO loses power less than a minute after leaving the Home Station, this usually means he is not actually charging, or the battery is not holding the charge.

Let’s try these steps (from easiest to hardest):

1. Clean the charging pins – On the bottom of EMO and on the Home Station, gently clean the metal contacts with a dry cloth.

2. Realign EMO – Make sure EMO is sitting properly on the Home Station. The blue light on the station should become steady (not blinking).

3. Check the power cable – Try a different USB-C cable and a different 5V/2A wall adapter. The original cable may be damaged.

4. Test the Home Station – If you have the standard skateboard charger, try using that instead. If EMO charges normally on it, then the Home Station itself may be faulty.

5. Let the battery drain completely – Run EMO until he dies, then charge him to 100% without interruption. This can recalibrate the battery reading.

6. If nothing works – The internal battery may be worn out. In that case, you may need to contact support at service@living.ai with a short video showing the issue.

I hope this helps.

Best,

Hamza

Hello,

I am having a problem with my EMO again. The issue is that for some time now, when EMO’s battery is low, he does not return to the charging station. Even though the charging station is sending the green light signal correctly, EMO does not go onto the charging station to charge himself.

Could you please check this issue for me?

My EMO ID is: cded92

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Adi

Hi there @Adik1979

I’ve moved your new topic to this thread for issues with the home station. At the same time, I closed the new topic you created to keep everything organized.

Will your EMO manage to return to its home station using a manual command?

EMO…Go home!

EMO and HomeStation Issue – Solution Tips to Try!

Unbind EMO from the HomeStation using the EMO Pet App

PROPER PROCEDURES:

  • Open the EMO Pet App → Go to UtilitiesLight Page → tap the Light Button → select “Unbind All.”
  • Tap OK to confirm.
  • EMO will unbind all accessories, reboot, power off, and disconnect from the app.
  • Press and hold the HomeStation button located at the front middle part of the HomeStation tower for about 5 seconds to repair, reset, and start pairing mode.
  • Place EMO back on the HomeStation and wait until it connects automatically via Bluetooth. If it does not connect, start the pairing mode and connect it manually.

GOODLUCK!
