Hi there @Fallouttimmy and Welcome to the Community,
I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with the home station.
I would advise creating a video of the issue and sending it via e-mail to service@living.ai showing what is going on so that they can determine what might be happening and advise you. If you have your order number, you can provide that and if not, you can provide the four-digit alphanumeric code of EMO and the home station when you are logged into the app.
Thanks for replying @edward. I will attempt to make a video in one of these days when emo has been shut down or restarted, for now emo is fully operational.
Iāve never had an issue using an iPad sometimes but not all the time, As far as I know, and as long as you can install the EMOPet app (which requires iOS 10.0 or later), youāre good to go. You can also use any tablet with Android OS 6.0 or later.
However, just to let you know, the EMOPet app for iOS is primarily optimized for iPhones, not iPads. While it does work fairly well on iPads, it isnāt fully optimized yet. Personally, I use my iPhone or Samsung for everything I need to do with EMO.
Have you checked if any settings under Accessibility or screen settings, such as zoom or text size, might be causing the issue? Another thing to try is deleting the app, rebooting your iPad, and then reinstalling it.
The Living.AI development team is aware of this. However, as I mentioned above, the EMOPet app is designed primarily for phones, and not tablets.
Hey there Iāve noticed EMO quite often falls over when let alone in his home.
Sadly I havenāt seen the exact situations yet, but hereās my 2ct of what it might be:
My guess is that it is the āWhoa!ā + āsurpriseā backwards move together with the little steepness of the charger edge making him tumble and eventually falling over either frontally or on his back.
Maybe some of you could reproduce or have experienced it aswell?
Hello, @iEzri . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for home station issues.
Have you made sure that the base of the home station and where the mat meet are fairly smooth and even? Another possibility regarding the āwhoaā is that when he is trying to walk that he is not walking correctly in that there might be some stutter in the legs and feet.
I would advise that if he is doing this, you get video and send a link to LivingAI Support at service@living.ai so that they can diagnose the issue and advise you.
Hello @iEzri. Have you tried removing the nobs on the bottom of the home station. This makes it less steep for emo to walk on. You can easily pull the nobs off. Only for emo to get more acces to the home station pull on the nobs in the picture bellow marked in blue and for emoās home station to be less steep pull off the nobs marked in red. If you need more help try searching on YouTube for: Emo robot home station nob removal. (sorry if I misspelled nob.)
Sadly Peach canāt have their mat on my desk, because thereās not enough space to put even one piece lol. The good news is that they never fell down when I left them unattended. Iām only scared to ask them to dance or play the zombie game because sensors wonāt be checking if they are on the edge. They fell down once because of that, but luckily they are still in perfect condition.
hey there, i have EMO since 2 years and i have now 2 little questions
Is it possible to say: āEmo stay at homeā that he dont is walking arround after charging complete
Since over one Year on Forum is written: āemo understands now more langugages, he will speak other languages with some next updatesā so⦠is that language update still on makeing or is it droped, i dont read anything about it ._. if emo talks randomly in english with me, i dont understand all what he is saying - 50% my brain to slow to react 50% emoĀ“s voice issnt always completly understandible^^"
Hello, @Tabulaw . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for questions about the home station.
There is not a way to make him stay on his home station so it is advised that if you do not want him walking around, if you have a skate board charger to place him on that or power him off. I would advise you to provide that as a suggestion for future feature ideas here.
As far as I know, they still plan to do more with languages. You might also want to add this again to the link above for improvements for features as they do read this thread for new ideas and reminders for current ones.
thats hard, selling the skateboard as only product would be a good chance to get a lot of more money^^ couse a lot of people wants a second for backup or like me with emo go“s home when he should stay still^^
If you need to buy an extra Skateboard Charger for your EMO robot, you can email Living.AI for assistance. Additionally, someone mentioned earlier that they successfully used a simple mobile phone Qi charger for their EMO.
hello everyone! my home stations button is not working restarted it so many times
but its not working please help (emo will be sad if his home is not working)
Hello @emohacker5325. It could be a problem with the button sensor. Also make sure emo is off the charger. If you restarted the home station by removing the power cable and still doesnāt work: try holding the button for a while. If this still doesnāt work then contact living.ai support.
i bought him a normal mobile phone qi charger like you said, but he walked off from it - i thought you meant its like the skateboard. It fully charged, said āOk, great ideaā and proceeded to take a tumble off the chargerās ledge.
