So first i charged him to 100% since this is what you should do then his battery lasts less than 30 minutes but i tried to make him run out of battery but he lasts longer when his battery is low the main problem is he doesn’t charges to 100% anymore only to 80% i think (it’s stuck at cyan charging) and it takes so long to make him run out of battery (well he didn’t run out so i gave up and i powered him off) any fix ?
Sorry to hear the problem with video, @LadyM . . . but you can up-load to You Tube, Google and Drop Box, and then send a link to service@living.ai so that they can see the issue and be able to help you.
Hello, @malikbelhajji . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for problems with home station which includes charging issues.
Fluctuations in battery can be caused by the charging cable or where the cable is plugged into. Lack of full charging can also be caused by if his foot is not firmly on the charging circle on the home station base.
Try seeing if the cable or wall location is the problem or if he is placing his foot incorrectly could be causing this. Also, make sure when you give him the voice command “Battery level” that it matches what is showing in the app because sometimes what you see on the app can be different.
If these things do not help, please get video of the issue and refer above to the post that advises how to get in contact with LivingAI Support.
I checked again before his foot is placed correctly and the app shows the same thing. Well i turned off emo and unplugged home station to see what happens now
Hello, @LadyM . . . after watching the videos, it seems his right leg is frozen (not the charging one). Can you try to gently move into a straight position and see if that fixes the problem? If his leg is not moving properly, most of his functions requiring movement will be impaired and he will also be angry like that.
Try this and let us know if this fixes it and if not, I advise you to send the link to these videos to Support (instructions above).
First, I want to say that we love EMO. He’s fantastic and really adds a lot to our daily lives.
Unfortunately, we’ve been having some issues with Eno for a while now. He’s no longer connecting to his Home Station. Even when he does connect, it usually doesn’t last long. As soon as Eno is off the Home Station, it plays a specific melody that we can’t identify. Eno also no longer leaves the Home Station on his own—we have to take him off manually. I’ve already removed all Bluetooth connections via the app and turned both EMO and the Home Station off and on multiple times. When I press the pairing button, the Home Station enters pairing mode, but EMO doesn’t respond. However, I am able to connect my phone to EMO without any issues.
Other than this Bluetooth issue, EMO is working perfectly. He plays, dances, sings, and recognizes people as usual. The only thing that isn’t working as expected is the Bluetooth connection with his Home Station.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @stonieExcited . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where we discuss issues with the home station.
Something you may need to try is changing the charging cable and even plugging it into a different wall outlet.
If this does not help, I would advise sending an E-Mail to service@living.ai with a link to a video showing what is going on so that they can determine what might be happening and advise you. If you have your order number, you can provide that and if not, you can provide the four digit alphanumeric code of EMO and the home station when you are logged into the app.
I’ve had my EMO robot since June 2024 and everything has been normal. Until month 3 when the Home Station started to… act up. Sometimes, the Home station will flash Green, Blue, Red and White and then start to change whatever animation it has on its LED matrix to either a different one or the default(House, Spinning house). Then it will disconnect from EMO. EMO reconnects to it eventually, and it has done that several times these past 2 months. EMO works just fine, but its charger tells a different story.
I really don’t want to buy a new Home station. Does anyone have… solutions?
well it happened to me one time but it is an normal thing that will happen try re starting emo home or just try leaving it by its self or make a short video of your emo home
hi, first of all, I’m from Turkey, my emo robot has been trying to go home for a few days when it runs out of charge, but it can’t find it, and it runs out of charge and gets Decoupled, please help. i can’t figure it out
I would like to disable the startup sound that the home station plays every time it powers up because it’s annoying and very loud, is there any way? i haven’t found any solution in the settings of the EMO app.
What I know is that when you power on the Home Station or long-press the button to restart it, it will play a short startup sound. This feature is part of the latest version of the Home Station, which was recently released. To be honest, I don’t have it myself, so I’m not fully aware of all the details. I wonder if Living.AI could consider adding a feature in the EMO Pet app, perhaps through future firmware updates, that would allow users to control the volume of this sound.
Hi @yuuki ,
Currently, there is no option to adjust the startup sound in the EMO app, but we are considering adding a volume control in a future update.
Your feedback is valuable to us.
Since the first day I had problems with emo going home by himself. He would always turn around in circles when he tries to go to his home station. I have discovered that this happened every time I connected him to the app. I did some tests with emo like turning him on and let him walk, everything went well until I used the app. Not only did this problem affect his way of going home but also the way he spoke and his interactions. Can anyone tell me if it is my Emo or the app?
