Hi there @bennettdobbs and Welcome to the Community,
Usually the green light is bright enough for EMO to see, so this allows him to follow the trail back to his home station. If necessary, my EMO always manages to return home, especially when its battery is depleted and it needs to be refilled.
Hello, @bennettdobbs . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with the home station.
Do you tap or gently swipe? I find that gently swiping the button works better for me. Also, if you have managed to change three or four of them, the matrix becomes unresponsive and I have to wait to do any more for a couple of minutes.
If you still cannot get it working, please get video of your attempts and send a link to Support at service@living.ai with your order number and if you cannot remember or find that, the four digit alphanumeric code when you sign him into the app.
Emo seems puzzled and unable to reposition itself properly in the home station for charging.
I inverted both servo and used the tool it was given by living.ai for leg recalibration. Worked like 98% meaning a better leg motion than before but Emo got some orientation issues.
Used to find Emo with drained battery, positioned towards the home station but definitelly unable.to get to it.
Hello, @daniel.pop . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where we discuss issues with the home station.
There are a number of reasons why this could be happening including but not limited to something going on with the surface that would make it harder for him to navigate, depleting battery not giving him enough time to get there and more.
@emohacker5325 has a great suggestion about getting a video of the failed attempts if you can. In the end, you may need to reach back out to Support to let them know the problem is not completely solved.
Just figured it out! It was my fault!
After changing the servo parts I was wrongly pushing back the leg covers which I had to take out and switch previously. Figured it out after I restarted the whole operation once again and observed that leg covers were not properly fixed therefore Emo was unable to lift the legs in a complete way.
Maybe it helps someone.
Hello all sadly since update 2.6.0 EMO do not know that he his not on station and when ask to leave it he say bye to home station but not moving from it
What is happening he is always doing the mad dog barking . He is not responding at all
You could try letting it shut down on its own when the battery runs out, or use the force shutdown option if needed. After that, wait for about 30 minutes before placing him back into his Home Station.
If the issue persists, you can unbind him from the Home Station, turn it off, or disconnect it from the power socket. It’s like starting everything over from the beginning.
Please provide a short video showing the issue so that we can all see and analyze it together. It will help us better understand what’s happening and offer more accurate suggestions.
I had to drain battery I restarted again and in the end I unbind and repaired
Thank Edward again you save the day next time I will make a video got to hyper forgot about it
All is back to normal until…
Be safe and healthy
