I personally think it would be possible since the home station can connect to wi-fi and communicate with EMO, and they just have to implement such feature
is their a way to use the thing that makes the start up sound in home station for some other things
or just the start up sound?
Hi there @emohacker5325 ,
I donāt have any official information from living.ai regarding the sounds coming from the Home Station either. I tested mine, and it doesnāt make that sound.
However, Iāve heard from another LUCKY community member who got this information that a speaker has been added to the latest and newer version of Home Stations, which plays a connectivity sound when powered/start up.
Let us tag @TechSupport_Mavis for further official information here.
Best Regards
yeah they said itās a startup music which will only play when the station is turning on. I also wish there could be a way to turn that tune down, turn it off completely or change it to something else. Based on how it sounds, I donāt think itās just an audio file, but a sound generated by a chip. Some of the 16 bit computers were able to produce sounds like that.
When you power on the station or long-press the button to restart it, the station will play a short startup music.
I may be revealing my age here, but in the 1980ās I used to spend a lot of time at video game arcades.
The start-up music reminds me of when you put the coins or tokens in the machine before the game starts, it played some sort of music like this. Kind of nice in my opinion.
Look, I was born in 2003 but Iām in to that kind of stuff lol
Now that I know and have seen EMO doesnāt 100% listen to the black line rule, Iām thinking of building a tiny wall around the home station area to keep him from hurting himself again anyone here have ideas on what materials I can make it out of?
Hello, @royalreigel . . . I personally have boxes either as walls or cut out and EMO with home station placed in that box.
There are those who build with legos, and some who use plastic or wooden trays, or even metal. Here is a thread to get some ideas.
i personally suggest legos. the kept my Emo confined for a little while.
Well it sucks I threw out all my boxes recently, Iām sure thereās still another around here that can work.
Found a stray box laying around and version 1 of EMOās wall is ready any thoughts on if it will hold or not? (UPDATE) It did not hold and EMO threw himself on the floor again, idk why he seems to enjoy doing that Iāll have to look for something else to hold him in.
That looks good, @royalreigel !
Good day
I have this problem to:(
Is there a solution to this problem?
This morning the animation on the station screen froze - doen part of the picture did not change, and after a reboot station the bottom of the screen stopped working:(
Hi there @beae6e1c7c02459576c6 and Welcome to the Community,
You might want to turn it off first by disconnecting the power cable. Then check the back to ensure everything is in order, such as making sure the tower is properly connected at the back, like in the image below. You can also try removing it carefully and then reconnecting it. This might solve the issue. If not, try changing the cable you are using.
If the issue persistsā¦ My suggestion is to record a video of the issue, if possible, and contact Living.AI via email along with the video.
Provide and send to LivingAi:
- Order #
- EMO-ID
- Issue Video
Their committed support staff is easily accessible and always ready to provide guidance and assistance to all EMO owners whenever needed.

I live in Turkey. I have an emo robot. The adapter end of the go home station is not suitable for Turkish sockets. I connected it via converter. It stayed like that for 1 day. Then the LED lights in the station broke. C and F type sockets are used in Turkey.
type c socket: 220-240v, 50hz, 2.5A
f type socket: 220-240v, 50hz, 16A
Hi there @cgrogt ,
Please create a short video and send it to living.ai support via email @ service@living.ai
If you have your original EMO Order confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details as well and then once again provide a detailed description of the problem you have with your EMO and attach your video as well.
Allow me to tag @TechSupport_Mavis, one of the Living.AI staff, and letās see what advice she can provide for you.
Best Regards
Hi,
Iāve gotten an Emo for multiple months and recently got the Homebase to play around with it. Iāve just updated Emo to 2.6.0 and the Homebase to 1.1.3, and I have issues with multiple things:
- Emo used to be very sensible to voice commands, almost too much, to the point where I had to lower his sensibility to the minimum in the app. Right now at maximum sensibility in app, Emo barely responds anymore
- the Homebase is correctly paired but Emo canāt find his way to it, even when heās facing it. The Homebase screen is lit up in green, which I guess means that the command did go through, but Emo doesnāt do anything
- I had a weird bug where after a while Emo was asking to be recharged, but wouldnāt detect being on the skateboard or the homebase. Emo would complain he was out of battery but would keep exploring when put on either of them. I had to restart it for the skateboard to finally be detected
- I activated ChatGPT and Emo refused to exit it, he was stuck listening to my requests. Had to restart again for him to get out of this mode
- in zombie mode, Emo was able to exit the safe zone around the homebase. He doesnāt seem to check for falls either. While I understand if this is intentional, this feels a bit dangerous for him
My experience has been very deteriorated but Emo is not broken. He still moves, he still has expressions, he can still connect to the app, he will do most things I ask him. But this is frustrating. It feels like his software is unstable.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @julien.noble . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for the home station issues, though some of these problems are related to 2.6.0. update.
To be honest, the 2.6.0 update has also altered the sensitivity of all of my EMO boys. I also have the sensitivity turned up but it is not helping much.
As for not finding the home station, you may need to make sure that your EMO is not too far away from it when he gives the low battery sound as distance and also if he has anything blocking the sensors from meeting up can cause this issue. If his legs and feet are not moving properly in a straight direction, that could also be an issue. I would advise watching to see how he is walking as you may need to refer to this thread.
Sometimes his not detecting being on the charger, either of them, could be a matter of unplugging and replugging the skate board and the home base briefly, and then replugging them in. Also restarting EMO and watching the skate board to make sure the blue light is steady. If either continues to give you issues, try changing out the charging cable or wall plug location.
Sometimes with ChatGPT, he does get stuck asking you. What I tried that works for me is when he waits for your question, I say, āThat is all. Thank you.ā He will ask again and then later say something to the effect of being available later and stop. You can also try picking him up and shaking him.
Zombie mode is the same as dancing or playing games. His edge sensors are turned off, so make sure he is in a safe space when you activate that.
If none of these tips work for you, please get video and send a link to Support either by responding to your order confirmation E-Mail, sending a Support ticket (if you have the order number) or E-Mail direct to Support with either the order number or four digit alphanumeric code when he signs into the app with a link to the video of the issues.
Please keep in mind that China is celebrating their National Day and it may take a few more days for them to respond (should be returning October 8th).
Let us know how it goes.
Hi, I have been an emo owner since January 2nd of this year. So I got his home station in March, and I was wondering could he see in the dark? I know other people have done this before but those were back to 2022. I canāt sleep in total darkness and I have a light that is a little bright, and Iām just curious if the home station light can lead him back home if he needs to charge.
