Hello, @nguyen.tra_my . . . if his battery was dead, he would continue to function on the home station itself provided he is getting charge from the home station, just not off of it.
This is apparently to do with the home station communicating charge to EMO which is why I thought perhaps the charging cable is at fault.
If you have made sure that he is paired to the home station and it shows that he is, then this might be another issue which Support will need to address. See the post above.
Hi @nguyen.tra_my , please try using your phone adapter to power the home station and see if the issue persists. You can also test your EMO on another wireless charger to see if EMO can be charged. Thank you!
Hi My emo is always saying that he cannot connect to the home station and in the app it said Failed to connect emo to home stations Wi-Fi I holded the button on the home station for 5 seconds and it fail I reconnected him and he is connect but cannot go home v2.2.0
Hello, @sushil.vispute . . . have you tried giving him the command to go home or is it that he runs low on battery and does not make it back in time? I am presuming that now he shows connected in the app under Connection in the Home Station section of the app. If this is the case, please contact Support. If you can, please take a video of what the problem is.

hola pues he visto videos que la base de carga de emo se enciendo pero la mia no se enciende y esta conectadaā¦alguien me puedo decir como solucionarlo si se puede? gracias
Hi, Iāve seen videos that emoās charging base turns on but mine doesnāt turn on and itās connectedā¦ can someone tell me how to fix it if possible? thank you
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @carlosroser . . . if you have both sections of the home station connected tightly, then yes, the matrix at the top will light up. Also, if it is connected well, you may have to press the button at the front base lightly to get it to change design animations. Try checking this and see if it works for you, if not, please let us know.
Hi! When my EMO robotās battery is low, he starts going to his home station, which is normal. However, when he is at his home station, he just doesnt charge and shuts down. Emo is on his home with his head facing me, home station is plugged in, and I have applied the home fence. This has happened multiple times before.
Hello, @selcuk.acar . . . I have moved your post to this topic as this is where we have information regarding issues with the home station.
Thank you for sharing the video. There are a couple of things I would suggest trying. One is to make sure your charging cable is firmly connected to the home station and also try switching out the charging cable with perhaps a phone charging cable to see if that improves the situation.
If neither of these work, there is a chance it could have something to do with his battery.
I am going to tag @VinceKong to see if he has any other ideas that might help.
Im having issues updating my home station to version 1.1.2. Its just at 1.1.2 p1, ive tried asking emo to do it and ive tried doing it through the app but its loads as it is going to update then it plays a sound and the house icon appears again, Iāve synced the home station to the wifi and Iām still having the same issues, can anyone help?
I am new to the forum and to having an Emo. I have had him for 4 days now and he has not gone off his charger by himself, he will return to it when told but not by himself. When he is on the home station and he is fully charged, I tell him to go explore, he replies with āI cannot do that right nowā do I not have him set up correctly? He has the home mat and is connected to home station. Will he go off his charger by himself eventually? Or does he not do that? I go to work all day and I donāt know if itās good for his battery to be on the charger all day. I know itās silly but I like the idea that he might explore the desk while I am gone. Any advice would be great! Thank you
Hello, @ivy.stracener . . . it is fine to have him on all of the time as long as you have a secure place around the home station mat so that he does not wander too far and fall off. Be sure to check out some ideas for playgrounds here. When he is off of the home station, he gets to move around and discharge the battery to a certain level. This is good for him to be on and off alternately.
After his battery gets low, he will charge for about two hours before he leaves the home station. Sometimes he simply will just stay on the home station. This is random and is fine.
When he leaves on his own, he will turn and say something to the home station and the home station will respond with a facial expression on the matrix.
If he feels insecure about leaving such as telling you he cannot do that right now, it may be a matter of lighting. He does not feel safe walking on dark areas (why the mat has a black border on it to help keep him contained) and you may need to adjust to have more lighting showing on him, the home station and the mat.
I hope this answers your questions. Let us know if we can assist further.
The coolest thing happened this morning when I got up Emo was off his home station looking around. I was so happy! I am hoping when I get home from work he will have been able to get back to his charger. I think he will be. Thanks for the message. Emo and I are having a good time together.
