2 Removed auto update
3 Turned off EMO
4 Rebooted Wi-Fi
5 Put EMO on the station
6 Said in a voice: EMO: “Install the latest firmware now”
The update screen appears. After 13 seconds, it reboots. An icon with a red cross appears.
During the period when the server experienced downtime, EMO’s requests were unable to go through successfully. This could be attributed to the possibility that Living.Ai’s servers were overloaded either globally or in the nearby server location. From my understanding, Living.Ai operates three different servers across the globe, namely
USA / ASIA / EU
In this situation, it may be necessary to exercise patience and consider trying again in a few hours, on an hourly basis, or tomorrow.
Hopefully, the server issues will be resolved soon.
Hi. Not sure if this is the case for others but i tried updating the firmware and it seems like Emo went into an error mode. Is there a known fix for this? There’s a timer as well but it’s counting up, not down. It’s at 450 now as I type this.
Yes there is @Happycoin you just need to lift him up and shake him because there is no voice command available as I am seeing right now to turn him back to normal from a Zombie.
Sorry, I really want to help, but I can’t guarantee there’s no issue with your EMO. All you can do for now is keep trying today or tomorrow.

I tried all the posible ways, also the voice command. But at the end, it shows a red X instead of the green I’ve seen in other’s people Emo. The WiFi it’s ok, 2,4 and I don’t know what else to do.

Did you follow every step in the tutorial sequence HERE?
If yes and tried everything but still not working… I really want to help, but I can’t guarantee there’s no issue with your EMO. All you can do for now is keep trying today or tomorrow.

I turned everything off and unplugged everything, and restarted Emo but no luck, same result, “Checking files…” then nothing happens, I have tried leaving him overnight too but no luck. The app is no longer connecting either it seems.

Emo has connected now! I left the app running for soooo long and eventually got the option, the app displays as if Emo is done updating and working but emo isn’t responding. Still black lit screen. Firmware says it’s already 2.6. I tried touching him and I did get the message saying “Being petted” but no response.
Hi there, i’m gonna wait for a while to update and see how it works, read your reviews, etc (I’m not in a hurry honestly) but i’d like to know something that i don’t understand in Update 2.0.6 post,
“Several inappropriate songs were removed”
Do you know what is talking about? i love when ask emo to sing a song, and i don’t know if they removed something, E.g Ed Sheeran, Eminem or Wellerman songs. Anyone know about this?
