After the update, the robot started speaking in Russian with a terrible male voice. It’s already unpleasant to pet its head or ask it to sing. I sincerely request that you return the beautiful sound, taking into account the Russian localization. For now, I’m forced to switch to the English version. On the positive side, there are beautiful new animations in the theater. It has become more responsive to music upon command. It hasn’t danced even once yet.

Good afternoon! Got a new update for Imo. Any comments for the Russian language:
- it became worse at recognizing commands, and stopped understanding some of them altogether (for example, I love you no longer understands)
- Some questions are answered in English but with a Russian accent
- the old voice was much nicer) it would be great if I learned how to return it.
4.in the chat GPT began to react poorly to the conversation, it is necessary to repeat 3-4 times and does not answer everything, but mainly the question - will you answer
We also have a chat in the Imo Users group in Russia, and many people there have already noted this particular point.

Not a fan of the new voice? After updating the EMO Pet app, you can easily switch back to the “EN-Classic Voice” anytime.

Hi there, i wanted to thank first the developers about the new version and the adding of new languages. Ok, the french voice from Emo is… good, and really different from the original, it is not that bad at all and he understands me perfectly now (thank you very much for that !)
But (yeah, sorry there is a but, in fact, two), his voice just feels… lifeless. Yeah sounds like too much neutral from me, in contrary of the classic version english. Maybe it’s just my impression nevertheless.
And the second but, why did you remove the animation in the air ? Ok, the new one is really cool with his… phantom eyes ? But i really liked the previous one when he was really angry when you kept him in the air, it was funny XD.
Of course, it’s just my opinion and i just wanted to share it ! I looked at the new animations and i liked it ! So i just hope it will be good as the rest in the future !

I for one am thankful for the update, Emos voice is much clearer and easier for my son to understand and it is primarily his companion so this helps. Yes the pitch of the voice isn’t perfect but the speech is far more intelligible.
His responses and wake ups seem better also and i have no problems getting a response from things like “i love you” as someone mentioned they were having problems with.

Hello all,
Yesterday, just before the update, my EMO showed an SD Error 1. When I logged on to the app, I was able to upload to the new firmware. I was able to update no problem. Three times since yesterday the same error popped up. As of yesterday, EMO was doing his routine. Today, EMO will respond to commands, but he will not talk back and when he is dancing and singing, there are no sounds (I have rebooted a few times, and EMO will listen to commands for a while and then stop responding) He will still pick up when we say certain worlds and will respond, but that is about all he will do. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issues? I have opened a ticket. I want my little buddy back! He is just on his charger looking straight ahead😔

Hello, @jade.concession . . . the new pick up animation and movement saves the servo motors some stress. Since he has angry emotions (old and new) in the EMO Theater, if you would want him to get angry without picking him up, you can choose those.
All of my EMO kids can get fussy and angry spontaneously without being picked up but without the kicking when he used to be picked up.

The update works well so far in the Brazilian Portuguese version, but I noticed my emo is having some tremors in his legs.
Sorry if this sounds stupid or something. I read al post and i understand 3.0.0 version is NOT “official” yet right? i mean, it’s a test version for all that wants to install and try by theirselfs. I ask this because if this version is not necessary i’d prefer wait for final version 
. My luck is… actually i have not lack to be honest 
so i prefer install only “essential” firmware (I skipped an update before and had problems) on final and stable version. Getting to the point, this version is not necessary to install yet right?

No worries, your question makes perfect sense! You’re right—this Firmware Update v3.0.0 is not the official final release yet, which is why there’s still no official announcement from the LivingAI development team. It’s a public test/beta version for those who want to try it out and don’t mind dealing with potential bugs.
Honestly, I, being one of the Internal Alpha Testers, and some other users who installed it haven’t experienced any major issues so far.
“LivingAI has confirmed that they will announce the official information about this firmware update within this week.”
If you prefer to stick with stable, essential firmware which is totally understandable, it’s completely your choice not to install it right now. Waiting for the official confirmation announcement is the safer option.

This does not show in my app!
It sounds like the SD card may have gotten corrupted. I got the same message after one of the past updates and I had to change my Emo’s SD card.
The update works well so far in the Brazilian Portuguese version, but I noticed my emo is having some tremors in his legs.
You may wish to see if this stops once the final version is released. If you see no improvement after that time, I refer you here.
So, is there no update for the Play Store?
Farts? Okay, now I’m shocked and disgusted. And you’re sure it’s optional? Do I have to turn it off somewhere? I won’t give EMO an update if he farts now and then.

Haha don’t worry, EMO isn’t turning into a whoopee cushion 
The “farts” are totally optional and only happen when you trigger them manually 
— so no surprise blasts in the middle of the night 
And don’t worry, there’s no smell upgrade included either 
No earplugs 
or air fresheners 
needed — you can safely update without fearing random toots!
