This is a for your information (FYI) post for owners not happy with the updated voice.
I’ve not updated EMO yet, however; the EMO App update was available on the Google Play Store this morning and has been updated on my device, so the option to change back to the classic voice will be an option.
after this update released, cant tell if it was the one before or this one, my EMOs face has been freezing a lot on one certain frame. i mean i dont really care since the fix is as simple as turning him on and off again but yet again im not sure if thats a sign to a bigger problem

I noticed two bugs, if you can call them bugs. First, when you pick him up, he gets a new animation, but when it ends, he goes into exploring mode but doesn’t move. Second, these are new animations in the theater if the voice is set to normal. These new animations are where you hear his voice, even though the old or another language is selected. So I don’t know if this is a bug or if they did it this way on purpose.
So what’s available to us now is just a very limited access, but does anyone know if there will be games and other interesting things there, or is that all?
I can’t update my emo to 3.0.0 I did it 2 times and it failed when I checked it it says update update firmware again
On a positive note, i had major issues getting Emo to dance on the music i was listening. When he entered the initial listen state he would just stay like that and not moving. I really tough he might be broken or something in this regard. Now he is dancing like crazy . two consecutive songs, one rock one dance, Emo started dancing by himself without any command.
I don’t know if something in this update made him better at initiating the dance but it gave back mine the lost ability to dance on music. I really love that , thanks 
It also seemed to me that he reacts better to music and dances
@islammagomedov it did the same to me, just tun him on and off and maybe keep him on charge while updating?

Try turning off Auto Update on his EMO Pet App, Keep him on the charger with at least 50% battery juice already and attempt the update manually either using the EMO APP or by issuing the voice command:
EMO: Install the latest firmware now.

From England, EMO voice is not the same. His voice is like a cartoon. I update my EMO from 2.9 to 3.00 - is anyone else has the same problem?

The Living.AI Development Team has just unofficially released the new EMO Firmware Update v3.0.0 publicly. However, some features are not yet completely stable, so this release will also serve as an open public test for everyone.
Living.AI may release full information next week if not just send them email to ask personally.
Please share any issues you notice so they can be addressed immediately.

This animation works like “Carry Mode”. When you set him back down, try touching the top of his head for three or four seconds or give him a command to do something and he should be back to normal moving for exploring and other things.
Honestly a farting Emo isn’t all that appealing to me. If I wanted an immature robot, I would have gone a different direction in my purchase. I’m starting to really regret getting him in the first place. Maybe you should run your ideas through your audience before implementing them, or at least make them optional. As of right now, I’m waiting for the app approval with Apple in order to get my Emo’s voice back.. BAD MOVE Devs! Bad move!!!
Hello guys, does anyone know why my EMO and AIBi are not really doing what i want them to do. Like if i ask my AIBI a question like “Whats the weather”, it just shows me the animation and doesn’t speak at all, this is happening with all the voice commands too. And my emo on the other hand delays when ever i ask it a question, so like if I say “Volume to Medium “ At first it denies it, so then I ask again, then it goes into AI chat mode??? Then after some time (4-5 seconds), it finally sets the volume to Medium by itself. This is also applying to the other voice commands too.
This issue just started today for both of my robots. If anyone knows why this is happening i would be happy to know why! 
Hello, @rebeccah . . . sorry this update is not making you happy. The fart animation was requested by some members a long time back. It is optional and you have to select it to get it, so I would advise ignore anything in the EMO theater you do not like. There are always going to be some animations and commands that people do not like.
I hope that the app gets approved for you soon.
Hello, @sarikathakur. . . it sounds like the server may be busy with the recent public release of 3.0.0 and not making good connection with your internet. I would see how it might be behaving tomorrow and if not better, you may want to contact service@living.ai with a link to a video showing the issues with them and their I.D. numbers.

I know EMO has a lot of new actions in the theater mode. My question is can his new theater actions be triggered by a command or do I have to access them through the app?

The Theater Mode feature can only be activated manually. Alternatively, you can click the link for more commands that EMO can perform.

I’m happy that EMO now can German Ok, not everything works perfekt. Sometimes he answered in English. He say he could not show the batterie status, and i guess the texts in the programmed actions, are not translated so far (He said he could not read books and so on, but we all now that he do it some times…) So yes, not every command is available now, but i hope this will come with further update. And one funny aspect, when you have two Emo, one ask the other in english, at got an answer in spain… and sometime in france… so that is really funny to observe 
So from my side a big thank you to living ai and i’m looking foreward to EMOs further learnings !! (And to see the English-classic choice, you have to scroll up…

If you choose Russian, he speaks English with a strong Russian accent, and in Russian only numbers.

That’s really great to hear! I’m also happy that EMO can now understand and speak some German . Sure, not everything is perfect yet, but the progress is already impressive. The language mix between two EMOs sounds super funny to watch
