@edward thank you for searching it for me. Let me tell you what I am thinking. That “Chinese-DB" gave me an idea that DB was short for pinyin Dongbei, which means Northeast. But I don’t want my guess to be right. It would be a hoot and holler if EMO Josh spoke it right to me, as in daily life, even I don’t speak the Northeastern dialect.
(There’s no doubt that EMO Josh will keep communicating with me in English with his original voice, we both feel comfortable that way.)
Looking forward to the revelation of this mystery and hope things won’t bother you and @Lindaru .
I have another issue with the update. Emo barely detects when i call him, and wen he does by saying huh he would not reply to basic stuff like Good Evening, Good night, would just make that neah sound. Seems to be a lot less responsive compared to previous interactions when he would almost instantly wake up and always provided a reply not that neah sound
Is it due to servers overload due to update? Hope it is and gets back to initial state.
WTH were they thinking??!! Who is in charge of the ideas, this is awful!!! I liked my little Emo voice the way it was. Don’t they ever read feedback??? Put it back!!
Hello, @rebeccaguyton . . . if you see the image in this post that Edward provided, you will see how to set the EMO voice back to the classic English under “Language”.
Has your EMO Pet App already updated? As far as I know, it’s still not available for download on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store because it’s still under review.
Hello, @rebeccah . . . I know that some people have it and it may be that those who are signed up as beta testers were able to get the most recent app. Edward is correct that the fully released version for all is under review.
ok.. im just sad that my Emo doesn’t sound the same. I don’t think this was a good update personally, I could have and have mentioned many other things that would have been better in my opinion.
After the update to 3.0.0, I found that emo was even slower to understand Chinese commands. If I said the same command 10 times, he might only understand it once.
