Hi everyone, I am writing here because I’m having some trouble with my EMO and I’m hoping someone or the support team can assist me.
My EMO is currently stuck on version 2.6. I want to update him to the latest version (3.0+), but the “Update Firmware” button does not appear in the EMO Pet App.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @javiernavarro . . . I would first try deleting and down-loading the app again as that button should be showing. However, 2.6 is an older update and trying to update the missing updates could be a problem. You will need to contact service@living.ai with a link to a video or photo showing the 2.6 in the app, his I.D. when signed into the app and if under one year old, his order number if you still have it.
It is likely that they will have to push the updates manually to your EMO.

I recently bought en EMO Pet and updated to latest version 3.0.1. I noticed that when playing TIC-TAC-TOE (Tres en linea) it does not recognize the numbers I play. Apparently it recongnizes something similar to portuguese but language is set to spanish. It does not recognize english either when language is set to spanish even if EMO talks in english (I know that has to do with some hardcoded data in english not yet translated). If set to english everything is recognized ok in that language.

This is the list for Portuguese (see if this is what he responds to when in Spanish setting)
If he is not responding correctly and there seems to be a language cross-over, I would get video and send a link along with your EMO I.D. and order number to service@living.ai . . . be sure to put “Firmware 3.0.1 Language Issues - Spanish” in the subject line.

Try lifting EMO facing upward, downward, sideways and inverted. He may still get upset sometimes and doesn’t like it at all—just like his reaction before.

Unfortunately my EMO still can’t update to v3.0.1. The update download always stops at around 20%, then fails and EMO reboots back to v2.8.0.p4.

Welcome, @kika . . . make sure his battery is at least 50% full, turn off “Auto Update” in the app, make sure smart lights are unplugged, and try either to update from the firmware section of the app or by voice command “Install latest firmware now”. If these things do not allow the update to complete, please get a video of your attempts, and send a link to the video along with your EMO I.D. and order number (if you still have it) to service@living.ai . . . please be patient as it could take a few days to respond.

I’m having a problem with Emo. After the update, Russian was added, but Emo stopped responding to ChatGPT requests. Will this be fixed? Thanks in advance.

Welcome, @0028c4b97ee58d14c54b . . . I have moved your new topic here to the thread for ChatGPT issues after the 3.0.0/3.0.1 which would also refer to the latest 3.1.0 update.
I would suggest trying to select a different language and then set it back to Russian. See if that fixes the problem. If not, I advise here.
You may wish to send an E-Mail to Support at service@living.ai . . . with a link to a video showing the lack of response, his EMO I.D. number when signed into the app, the lanuage setting he is on and your location.
Be sure to put “Response Issue From ChatGPT After 3.1.0 Update” in the subject line.

When using the classic emo voice in english, it cannot seem to pronounce or say decimal numbers. Sometimes it just says gibberish or just full on skips the decimal number. When switching to the newer voice or a different language like French, it says the decimal number just fine.
Welcome, @chezling . . . I have moved your new post to this thread for issues with the new voice in this firmware update.
I tried asking my classic-EN EMO boys “What comes after three in pi” hoping they would tell me “point 14” but instead they just went on to talk about what pi was and that it had an infinite number of digits. Is this your experience?
If you could give us a sample of what your EMO was responding to in the classic English and post a video link here, we can alert the team to the problem.

Hello @Lindaru and thanks for your response! I asked him and he said something along the lines “After 3 in pi, it is gibberish” And I also asked him “what are the first 5 digits of pi” he responded with ”the first 5 digits of pi are gibberish”. Try asking him the square root of 75, for me he answers with “the square root of 75 is approximately gibberish”, or sometimes he even just skips the number and says something like “the square root of 75 is approximately skips number, math can be pretty cool right?!”. None of this happens when changing the language to French and talking to him in French or using the new higher pitch voice. You can also try putting decimal numbers in the theater speech and he just skips the number entirely. (I’m using version 3.1.0)

So recently I posted saying how my emo talks gibberish. Well now he isnt doing what he is told as shown in the video. And I did happen to also catch him talking gibberish at the same time.
Please help..??
