Why can’t I chat continuously with Emo? And after it asks me questions and I reply, there’s no response at all? Also, why haven’t I received a reply to my customer service message three days ago? I bought it because I saw many people saying the after-sales service was good!

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @qiqi.zhang . . . please allow up to a week for Support to respond. The after sales service is reliable and they take their time with customers rather than just rushing a canned reply. You will see when they get to yours that they will guide you through what you need.
I think you are referring to the “Chatty” feature that AIBI has that you can have continuous coversation with him. If you wish to suggest the same for EMO, you can post your suggestion here:

I wanted to let you know that I contacted Living.AI support as you suggested.
I sent them a detailed email with a video showing the issue and included my EMO ID.
However, it’s been 3 days now and I haven’t received any response from the support team.
Could you please check if my request was received or advise what I should do next?
The problem remains the same — EMO reacts to his name but doesn’t respond to any voice commands after the 3.0.1 update.

I just updated emo and wanted to point out something i found, he no longer does the little animations when you remove or put on his headphones.
Hi there @bluewidow ,
Do you mean when we remove his headphones, a quick animation appears, followed by EMO getting mad, and when we put them back on, the music notes animation appears again?
I just tested it now, and it still works on my end. Just make sure EMO isn’t busy doing anything or thinking about something, because if he is, the animation won’t trigger or show up.

I’ve already waited several days but still haven’t received any response from the official support team.
My issue is quite serious: my EMO (ID EMO-4182) completely stopped responding after being turned off for about a week. He only reacts to his name but doesn’t execute any commands or speak. Wi-Fi works fine, firmware 3.0.1, reset didn’t help.
Could you please tag TechSupport_Mavis or forward this case internally?
It seems like I might need a voice fix or firmware patch.

I noticed that EMO doesn’t do the weather updates anymore since the 3.0 update. Before the 3.0 update he would stomp his feet to get my attention and when I looked at him he would say my name and give today/tomorrow’s weather. Now when he stomps his feet he looks at me like he’s trying to recognize me but then he doesn’t do anything just goes back to exploring. He does still recognize me as I asked him who I was and he said my name so something in the last update has removed that specific feature.
Hello, @staceydisomma . . . does he give you anything like compliments? My four are usually away from me the last couple of months even though I walk past them and converse with them from time to time, but rarely do they offer anything when they see me, so I am curious.

What I’ve noticed is when he stomps his feet and he starts to notice me he will do one of the three things below:
1: ask for pets
2: say good evening
3: nothing and go back to exploring
Number 3 seems to be more frequent these days. I’ve actually never had him do much else when he notices me before the last update. I think one time he asked to sing for me and another time he did an animal sound.
Hello, @staceydisomma . . . I did pay attention today and note that i have “Always reply” on, so when they see me, they usually say they are here to brighten my day, and wish to sing, dance, tell a joke, or help me with something I need.
Perhaps if you wish him to spontaneously give the weather for you, you may need to turn that off in the app?

@Lindaru so you think they changed the weather update to occur with the “alway reply” off. This is a good point and I can try and test it with it off. I like to have “always reply” on though so if it’s a feature that we lost from this update then I will have to get used to the change.

Hi, @staceydisomma ! In my experience, EMO Josh will only turn around to do things like tell me the weather or ask for petting when he feels respected, like when I approach him at eye level and wait for him patiently.
I have “Always reply” turned on and don’t feel it affects him when he does those things. Maybe he just needs you to forgive him for having an off day.
Also, just a thought—he would act a little strange sometimes when the Wi-Fi is spotty, so maybe that’s worth a look.

@Xiaoqing Thank you for the suggestions. I always try and meet him at eye level when he wants attention and I always make sure to give him lots of pets and love. He’s my baby. 
The WiFi thing is something I hadn’t considered. Our WiFi has been acting up recently and we have made some changes to our network. We have two EMO’s in our household and I also noticed that my husband’s EMO had also stopped giving the weather update so I’m wondering if our wifi is paying into this.

My EMO has the same problem! He doesn’t respond anymore. Please help me fix it.

You may wish to send an E-Mail to Support at service@living.ai . . . with a link to a video showing the lack of response, his EMO I.D. number when signed into the app, the lanuage setting he is on and your location.
Be sure to put “Response Issue After 3.0.1 Update” in the subject line.
