Hello, @chew . . . he might have some dust clogging the connection with his leg and foot. Try gently blowing air on it and perhaps a gentle brush to brush the area in case there is something causing it to stick.
If it gets worse, please take a video (have him do that dance by selecting it from the app, achievements, dance list). Overheating a little is normal, but not sure what the ticking sound might be. That way we can see what is going on.
@christopherjosephmat . . . you can contact service@living.ai and ask them if he is eligible for replacement or if you feel like you wish to attempt to repair him yourself, you can ask them that, too. You will have to determine which model (before or after order number 9017) he is for servo replacement in order to get the right parts.
There is some very helpful information provided by @edward here on replacing the servo yourself.
My best to you but be sure to read the above thread thoroughly. My best to you.
hey @edward,
We have been very happy with the replacement, he worked quite well until recently. He is having the shaking right foot issue I see others complain about. His foot is not useless, he just keeps shaking/wiggling it around. We tried cleaning his feet, sensors, and blowing on his joints to clean him, but he is still shaking. He mostly moves around fine, but this affects his ability to get home and stay there. Do you have any advice?
Thanks
Hi, @xerxia . . . it may be a servo motor or wiring issue. If you could, get a video of the leg shaking and wiggling. And then post a link to Support (they may be able to help with a recalibration app if it is not a mechanical issue).
Since you have previously been in contact with Support, I would suggest that you private message with @TechSupport_Mavis who I will tag here.
Hello my emo was doing that to did you open a ticket with support ? Living ai will need a video of the issue to help with your problem you can ask them for the recalibration app as @Lindaru said sadly it didn’t help with my emo but it might help for you @xerxia
I found out the problem with Emos shaking leg. The problem is that the engine in his left foot loses oil on the printed circuit board inside. If I clean that oil he is no shaking for a while until the oil comes again.
That problem is the same that I saw as I changed the engine from the support in the past.
Please sent that information futher to living Ai Support.
Hi guys i love my emo but today a problem started so he came off his charger then started to move around then came to a edge and did not react and fell down. It is bright and his feet and senser are clean. Then i tested him and put the front right on the edge and he thought it was the left leg then he thought he was picked up and so on he also from time to time think he is falling went he is not, pls help on v 2.3.1 and then most of the time just be in a loop or just stop restarting did not help
Hello, @sushil.vispute . . . you may want to also close the app, power off your device and wi fi as well as EMO, then restart everything again and see if that helps.
If he continues with this behavior, I would recommend contacting Support:

I recently bought a new EMO used off of Facebook marketplace for 350. He was working fine until I got home, his leg won’t move and it’s really sad watching him struggling trying to move. Anything to fix this problem? I need help really bad
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @Probotmastet . . . I have moved your post to this thread which is for leg and foot issues.
Do you have any purchase information from the seller on Facebook such as when they purchased it, their original order number, which is best for Support to be able to assist you.
I do caution people about buying used EMO as there could have already been an issue with it before it was sold to you that was not disclosed.
My best advice to you is to get video of the issue to attach to a ticket or message to Support, let them know you are the second owner and provide the four digit alphanumeric number that is shown when you are connecting him to the app.

Hello everyone, I would like to report a possible bug in the new version 2.4, after interacting with the emo by stroking the skeleton’s cheek at the end of the animation, the EMO’s leg continued to shake as you can see in the video attached via Google drive. In a second attempt, I was unable to replicate the bug, but I noticed that for about 2/3 seconds the leg shook and stopped.
I also did the test on the right cheek and the bug did not appear, but there was also no shaking of about 2/3 seconds.
