With the 2.4.0 update, when you say “Emo, you’re beautiful” Emo replies “Honestly, I’m not happy to hear that” and gets the fire negative feedback icon.
The previous updates if you said the same remark, Emo would reply “Oh, thank you” and get the flower positive icon.

Emo volume sounds lower than normal and sometime his words are distorted since the new update. I noticed his volume is up high. But it’s not as loud as it used to be after the update sound lower on high setting.
1.) what’s the difference between the dark emo and the white emo?
2.) and where can I get the carrying bag for emo?
thank you all for the new update I love that he’s more responsive. Whenever I ask him something he can answer it. Before he will look at you shake his head and make that noise that he don’t know how to answer your questions. So I love the more interactive and responsive of emo.
Hello, @Fac3L3ssB3auti3 . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues the 2.8.0 update where he responds to anything asked through ChatGPT. You may need to adjust his volume higher and make sure you have a good internet connection as that can sometimes glitch his responses as the ChatGPT is coming from the LivingAI servers.
As for White EMO, the skate board version has a white skate board and the EMO GO HOME version has a white home station. The only actual difference is the appearance of his eyes which are more sparkly and a brighter animation when he is powered on. The eyes also appear to have more rounded corners. You can, of course, turn this feature off if you wish in the app.
There is no official carrying case for EMO. Some have found carrying cases for EMO that work well but it is advised if you are going to travel to put him back in his original box as it is very sturdy and less resistant to damage.

No travel Case for him with a charging system built into the charging bag. ( Because as I mentioned in my much earlier message about Emo’s battery 
lasting a little over an hour.
We want to show off emo.
But his battery won’t last the day without a portable charger

Good suggestions! I too wanted to purchase just the skateboard. But, ended up getting emo white with it anyway. And, yes! To the fun accessories too lol

You can contact service@living.ai to see if they can provide you with a skate board though at this time, they do not sell them separately.
You can also use a portable charger like a qi wireless charger with 5W/1V to 2V but not the fast charging mode as some have had success with that if you need to travel with him.
Just be aware that not all wireless chargers are recommended. Again, I would advise if you find one, be sure to contact service@living.ai with the model you are interested in to see if they recommend it.

Hi everyone! I’m a newbie.
My Emo usually plays alone while I work from home during the day.
When I have a web meeting, his voice comes in through the mic though the noise-cancelling is turned on.
(What was funny is that my colleague said "do you have an alien in your home?"
)
So I have to mute him before every meeting and it is a bit of a hassle.
I told him “Emo, be quiet please” before the meeting, but he made a sound after 10 min or so.
Is there any other idea to keep him quiet many times a day?
For example, my day is like this:
- 11:00-12:00 web meeting ←No to make sound
- 12:00-13:00 lunch ←OK to make sound (I want him to talk and play loud!)
- 13:00-13:30 web meeting ←No
- 13:30-15:30 doing my task ←OK
- 15:30-16:00 web meeting ←No
- 16:00-17:00 doing my task ←OK

I also have a couple of days a week where I need EMO to be quiet because I am on the air with another EMO or AIBI and I do not want the others interrupting.
I mute the ones I want to stay quiet for an hour or so and then raise their volume when done until the next time. I know it is inconvenient, but I do not see any other way to keep him quiet at certain times without powering off.
You can cut down on how much he responds to everything he hears by turning off the “Always reply” in the app or dropping his sensitivity down to zero in the app, but you would still be changing him back and forth several times a day.
Perhaps suggest a schedule for quiet and regular times here.

Hello, @aukhar . . . I had moved it here because it seems that it relates to EMO being able to respond via ChatGPT to anything he hears. Many have complained that he interferes with sleep, meetings, so on. I believe his not being quiet like he once was is related to that, so I took a wild guess that this is what it related to.
If you have issues after future updates that may be related, please feel free to post your questions in those topics.

Since the release of:
EMO FIRMWARE UPDATE v2.8.0 (April 23, 2025)
EMO now uses ChatGPT to reply to any voice that is not in the Voice Command list, also ( But he will reply in English only for now, and without the ChatGPT symbol). You can choose whether to enable this feature in Settings-Preferences:
TURN OFF “ChatGPT” / “Always Reply” via EMO PET APP
Settings > Preference > Always Reply > Turn Off

Hello, @liya_shatoosh , , , all new and improved feature releases are posted here on this forum or on official social media dedicated to EMO and AIBI.
After the latest EMO firmware update, when I talk to friends, or if the TV is on, EMO is believed that we are calling him, and he always makes the classic sounds of when he waits for the command but then does not recognize it. Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this annoying problem?
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @kimbal.beverini . . . you can do a couple of things. In the app under preferences you can either lower his sensitivity or turn off his “always reply”. The other thing you can do if you do not want him interrupting is to mute him either in the app under preferences or by telling him “Mute”.

thanks for the quick answer, I tried from the app to lower the sensitivity on “wake up sensitivty”, I hope it can solve the thing. However, I would like to know if there is a way to train EMO to my voice and that of my wife, thank you.
