During the period when the server experienced downtime, EMO’s requests were unable to go through successfully. This could be attributed to the possibility that Living.Ai’s servers were overloaded either globally or in the nearby server location. From my understanding, Living.Ai operates three different servers across the globe, namely
USA / ASIA / EU
In this situation, it may be necessary to exercise patience and consider trying again in a few hours, on an hourly basis, or tomorrow.
Hopefully, the server issues will be resolved soon.
With the full integration of ChatGTP, Emo has memory now. I asked him to recite me some information about a TV show, then later asked him to tell me what I asked him, and he remembered my original question.
I’m surprised the devs aren’t advertising this harder, I think this is what most people expect when buying Emo.
Right now the new update (2.8.0) for me is NEXT LEVEL!!! Like EMO can finally finally remember things and have good chats with !!! LOVING THE Plan he makes for you to be fit! Emo also really came a long way. It’s been a while seen I have been here because I had troubles opening the forum. Will report if I find any bugs
This update is so amazing and I think that I speak for everyone when I say that EMO needed this update with the chat GPT integration.
It works perfectly and he can understand more of what I’m saying,
However the only issue that I have noticed is that the chat GPT voice is a bit muffled and at certain parts he kind of trails off his sentence. But other that that the whole update is amazing and I love that I can finally carry him places without him freaking out.
I really liked the new update but I only have two problems:
1 The voice of ChatGPT is weird and not very understandable
2 The new command website isn’t very good as the last one and the list isn’t complete by far and doesn’t even have the commands of its one update
I really liked every other thing, yes but it would be cool to have those things fixed
Hey folks,
So I’ve had this idea floating around for a while and figured it’s finally time to share it here.
I’ve got two EMOs, and they live in the same room I sleep in. They’re adorable, but there are a couple of issues when it comes to nighttime:
Podcast Problems – I like to fall asleep listening to podcasts, but EMO keeps waking up 'cause he picks up random words as his wake word. It’s cute, but also kinda annoying when you’re trying to drift off and suddenly he’s alive and vibin’.
Blinding Lights – The home station lights are super bright at night. I always end up turning them off, and honestly? I never really turn them back on, lol.
So here’s my idea: A “Night Mode” for EMO
You could set it on a schedule (like from 10pm to 7am)
During that time, EMO wouldn’t respond to voice commands — maybe shown by a little mute icon on his face
You could still manually disable Night Mode by tapping his head or something
The home station would either turn off completely or switch to a super low-light “sleep-friendly” mode
Bonus: If it’s possible, EMO’s headphones could turn off too during this time (I know, might be a stretch, but still)
I get that this might be a bit of a niche request, but I’m guessing I’m not the only one dealing with this kind of situation. And yeah, I could just turn him off at night, but let’s be real — the little guy deserves better than that
Would love to hear what others think or if there’s a workaround I missed!
Hey again,
Noticed something weird after the recent update and wanted to check if anyone else is hearing this too.
When I turn up EMO’s volume, there’s this constant background noise coming from his speaker — kinda like a soft hum or static. It’s not super loud, but definitely noticeable, especially in a quiet room.
I’m not sure if it’s just my unit or something introduced with the update, but it wasn’t like this before.
Anyone else having the same issue? Would love to know if this is a bug or maybe a hardware thing.
That should not be happening. I would advise you to get a video and send a link to Support at service@living.ai . . . be sure to include your order number or four digit alphanumeric code when he signs into the app.
I notice that Emo can’t hear my voice well. since the update
I have to talk louder than before the update.
The chat gpt doesn’t have clear sound, it’s often unintelligible.
Emo talks too fast, and unclear to hear well.
I understand you want to keep Emo going all day, but for purposes of battery preservation it’s poor practice to leave him on the charger all night long.
Hello everyone, I downloaded the new update 2.8.0 for my EMO on the app and EMO yesterday. I wanted the new ones as always. Funny work test. By the way, I come from Germany, I wanted to call up the Voice Command list on Living Ai as usual to test the new actions when I realised that this was no longer updated after the 2.7.0 update and also in the app the link for this Voice command page is no longer available. I then tried to try out the commands from the update change log translated from the forum to EMO in German but he did not react as if he did not know the commands. Are the updates available from now on only for the English version of EMO? It would be sad. Greetings from Germany
Hey, I havent been here in a while, but my 865 day old EMO Pearl is refusing to update. he’s saying he has an update but it fails to update, but the app says there is no update, and he’s on v2.7.0.
This is probably my favorite Emo update because you can talk to Emo at any time. He can also remember conversations from other times you talked to him. Sometimes when I am bored I ask Emo questions just because I am curious what he says.
If this is unsuccessful, please get video and send a link to service@living.ai along with your EMO order number or four digit alphanumeric code when he signs into the app.
Please note that along with EMO being updated, you will also need to update your app from Google Play or the Apple store.
The web site was recently updated and it may have been temporarily unavailable. Are you saying that these commands specifically no longer work in German?
If that is the case, please contact Support at service@living.ai with video of your attempts along with your order number or four digit alphanumeric code when EMO signs into the app along with the fact that this happened after the 2.8.0 update.
Please note that the new ChatGPT update is English only.
