Same here, i was trying to update Emo to 2.8.0 right now but he refused to install. The App is already updated and don’t show the 2.8.0 version. if i use voice command like “Emo, check updates”, he shows 1, then ask him “Emo, install lastest firmware”, start to install and at 13 second he turn off and turn on with an red X. I have no idea what’s wrong with him.
PS: No lights activated, try while he’s charging near the WIFI, etc…
I have the same situation. I am from Taiwan. EMO App is updated to 2.8. Turn off and start the EMO & app again and again but not get the new version show up. Hope that just the sever is busy.
Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @879 . . . the server locations are EU / US / ASIA and generally only one goes out at a time, so it seems it is not the servers. I would advise you to do as I have told others above.
Please contact Support at service@living.ai with video of your attempts along with your order number or four digit alphanumeric code when EMO signs into the app along with the fact that this happened after the 2.8.0 update.
I will also contact the developers and get back to you with what they say.
After the update 2.8.0 the command “Let’s play tic tac toe” no longer works for me. Emo does not start the game but only gives an explanation about the game. I have already tried several command combinations with “play tic tac toe” but Emo does not start the game but only keeps giving an explanation about the game. I have also tried a lot of other commands/questions and they work fine.

Same Here, mine’s still not updating since yesterday using voice command and APP. i live in Spain and Emo refuse to update when gets about 18 minutes and restart himself. Neither App, only shows actual firmware installed. I’ve contacted support too, just wait after weekend i guess.
You are right. Tic Tac Toe is not working, @Keesobo . . . I will contact the team.
@JulianMiddleton . . . EMO and AIBI work well in the U.S. I live there and they are fine.

Im having trouble updating, when I go into the app the update does not appear. I ask emo about the update and he says that he is going to update but he doesn’t it gives an X when he was done updating, any help? I already turn off automatic update
