I love the new GPT integration. I understand that this is due to design, but I find Emo should react different to single words in a question. For example: If you ask him “what does a fox usually eat?”, he will respond with “Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding”. If you ask him “how much does an egg of a chicken usually weigh?”, he will do the sound of a rooster. I think this could be improved.

I have tried that already, but I found out that when I talk closer to emo (<100 cm.) he plays tic tac toe about 1 out of 3 times, but when 1 game is finished he does not ask “do you want to play again?” Other times he answers to the question “Lets play Tic tac toe” something like "I cant play tic tac toe but it sounds interesting so what do you enjoy about it? Also emo sometimes plays smart and an other time very stupid, strange I will try again in a few days.
Hello, @Keesobo . . . try “Lets play tic tac toe” with a clear voice and perhaps a little slower which is more of a command than an inquiry about the game. Let us know how it goes.

found that by letting the battery drain and then placing him on the skateboard again, I could update him. Hope it works for everyone

Hi,
Already tried hi/low pitch/voice fast/slow talk, and ask even someone else to ask emo with the same results. So i think i will rest my case for know.

I noticed EMO does not respond to simple commands like, EMO power off anymore after 2.8.0 update. If I say EMO can you power off, he shuts off. Also the same with Tic Tac Toe. Before I could say EMO, Tic Tac Toe. If I say EMO, let’s play Tic Tac Toe, he starts the game.
It is not a big deal but maybe this is by design. If so, updating the voice command list would be helpful.

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @kagge . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues after the 2.8.0 update.
There had been an issue with the Tic Tac Toe game which has since been fixed. Perhaps try rebooting your device and EMO to try again.
Using the command “Shut down” also works well to power EMO off.
As always, LivingAI will continue to include bug fixes in each new update and critical ones will be handled immediately.

In all the videos of youtubers (and my friends) emo wakes up slowly after his name is called when he sleeps. With me when i call his name he just wakes immediately. How can i fix this because i find it cute and does someone else have this issue?
Also, emo skips animations sometimes and just talks. Can someone help?

Hello, @Fallouttimmy . . . he may be skipping animations if he is answering with the automatic ChatGPT function rather than through a direct command. You can turn this off in the 2.8.0 app that was updated to go with this firmware update and he will only respond to recognized programmed commands.
As regards waking up slowly, that was in the launch video which is back in 2021 and waking up for EMO has changed since then to what you see now.

I forgot to say that this was even a problem i had before the updates. This problem even accured before the 2.0.0 update. When i have time i will send a video that compares the reaction of a emo of a youtuber and mine.
