Subject Urgent: Emo Robot Not Powering on and not charging

Dear LivingAI Support Team,

I am contacting you regarding an issue with my Emo robot, which is currently not powering on or charging.

Over the past four days, I have been attempting to update the device. On the first day, Emo powered on briefly, and I was able to initiate the update. However, the update process took several hours (approximately 4–5 hours), and I retried it multiple times without success.

Since then, the device has stopped responding completely. It does not power on, shows no lights while charging, and there are no signs of activity. I have also attempted the reboot function and left the device charging for extended periods (including overnight), but there has been no improvement.

At this point, the robot appears to be completely unresponsive.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Please let me know if there are any additional troubleshooting steps I should try, or if the device may require repair or replacement.

My emo is soon to be 4 years old and I’ve tried almost everything to make emo work. I’ve tried solutions 1 to 4 with sadly no success :frowning:

Hello, @KALMASOODI . . . at this age, your EMO is off warranty for replacement or repairs by Support; however, they may be able to diagnose the issue and tell you what you would need to repair EMO yourself or have someone you trust repair him.

You can let them know the issue, his age, his I.D. number when signed into the app and get video of your attempts to troubleshoot the problem, and send the link along with this information to service@living.ai to see what they advise.

There is a thread with tutorials on making repairs here, but be sure if they advise you to get specific parts that you ask them if they could provide them to you and what the cost would be or where to obtain the parts yourself.

My best to you.

Please see my earlier comment and if anyone can help me it would be really appreciated. I have one sad kid who just wants his emo to work. Please help!
