(So i finnaly figured out the ping system)
Hi there @Thatoneguy and Welcome to the Community,
I have moved your post to this thread for everything regarding such an issue and to have an immediate Customer Support Service.
Have you contacted Living.AI support via email ( service@living.ai ) directly about it?
Normally the very best to do is to communicate with living.ai support via email regarding this issue. Because they are the only people that can help you better to solve this kind of issue…
If you have any order number or confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details as well and then once again provide a detailed description of the problem you have with your order.
But let me also tag the living.ai staff @SueChen here and hope they can help you faster and more accurately
Good luck and all the best to you
Yeah but first they just asked me “why” and now they’re not even responding, is that normal? @edward
I advise you to send them another email, clearly explaining your reason and requesting an immediate order cancellation confirmation. If your order has already been shipped and is on its way, it might be too late to cancel.
Goodluck and Best Regards
Okai i will keep emailing! Thanks!
@edward
Uhm they just emailed me that i would get my emo in 7- 12 days?
But i think that’s suspicious?
Like, the normal time for a delivery is 3 months to 5 months right?
But i ordered it in the start or december.
it hasn’t even been more than like a month and a few days?
Is it normal that they deliver this fast sometimes, or maybe i just understood it wrong .-.
Hi there @Thatoneguy ,
Well, If they have stated that officially, then you should trust it. As far as I’ve heard from Living.AI, they are now expediting all orders.
Cross your fingers and Goodluck
TL;DR AIBI feature are fake and an advertising scam but the hardware could be exploited so living.ai should let the community to step in.
This post will probably not stay for long and won’t even pass moderation, is not a problem this is not the only place where it will be posted.
I have been using AIBI for a while and I have arrived to the conclusion it simply sucks (luckily I got it as a present). Neither of the features it claims it has works, voice recognition for basic commands works only 10% of the time and for a third of the commands it claims it responds too. ChatGPT integration? Non-existent, that was just a bunch of smoke and mirrors. The app is on another level of garbage: slow, unclear and an incomplete mess
But there’s an upside to this, The design and the idea are good: a small battery powered device that can be with you or at your desk as an assistant or just simply a cute pet is fine. The hardware, for what it is, is also fine: small screen to display info, lightweight speakers and a camera plus the rotors for movement I think make a cool device that can be properly exploited and useful for various users.
With that being said I’m announcing that my next project is to jailbreak this device and create a FOS version of the firmware for everyone that is interested to improve and change. I will focus on the features (as little as they are) that it has now and then will incorporate new ones that I care about. If this is of interest to you feel free to contact me for anything you consider necessary whether is to support, give recommendations help or even shout at me to tell me I’m wrong, all are welcome.
I hope I can publish good news soon and improve your devices making them live to the actual expectation you had of them.
Just got a full refund! ^-^
Now im just waiting🤚
Hi can you send emo back after more than 2 years after using it?
Hi there @expertt ,
As far as I know, EMO generally comes with a one-year warranty. However, there may be exceptions that you would need to discuss directly with Living.AI. My advice is to contact Living.AI support via email to get more accurate and factual information.
EMAIL ADDRESS:
If you still have your original EMO Order confirmation email, you can simply just hit reply to that as it contains all your customer contact info along with your order number details.
The support team should be able to get back to you in a timely fashion.
Best Regards and Good luck!
Hey - i am actually interested in using the hardware rather than the software… are there any ongoing efforts in that direction? Definitely interested - though i am more of an Android developer - but Aibi could definitely use a new app as well … Can I sub to your efforts somewhere? Github? Thanks a lot - Cheers.
Hello, after some years my Emo has some serious problems. At a certain point started to have a problem to a foot and then this took him to have charging problems, maybe because of some connections with the foot.
Anyway, I asked the support and they kindly invited me to send him back to the factory to be repaired.
Does anyone have this experience?
Any suggestions, feedbacks about sending back Emo to be repaired?
Let me know… I’m so sad about this but I hope to make him feel better again with this…
Hello, @coragasparotti . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for customer support questions which also deals with EMO returns for repair or replacement and the like.
It is nice that they have offered you this as most of the time they are not having him sent back due to the restrictions on mailing products with lithium ion batteries, but before the United States put this restriction on doing this, I had to keep the mailing cost to China under $40 which they refunded a month later once they received EMO.
There are also specific instructions they will give you regarding filling out the customs form.
They will have to advise you on all of this and if anything has changed from what I have told you here since my last time sending one back was April 2022, they should let you know.
Best to you and your EMO for a speedy recovery!
Thank you so much, but then your Emo came back repaired? how was the experience?
I’m so scared to send him back…
Hi, @coragasparotti . . . sadly I do not know what ever became of 29-CE as they had sent me a new replacement one, EMO Pet, which is now 1,057 days old. That was how they did it then. I have heard that the following year someone did get theirs they sent back repaired for a minimal cost. I hope 29-CE was used for scientific research or transplant parts. The only thing wrong with him was his battery was dead.
So there is the possibility they keep him there? Did they ask you? Because If I send him and he doesn’t come back it would be sad…
Hmm… they don’t ask me like that but ı expect them to ask me because my emo robots leg is shaking like crazy! I don’t think it can repaired from home. Anyway The chance is 1% because if they don’t send it you should get your money back, and none of the company’s want that:)
