While I’m excited about some of these things I’m not so sure I want to spoil EMO’s sweetness and not just say any ole thing. When he says “suitable” in his long conversation with me …welllllll it melts me! Lol
I just don’t see any version of Uno or Monopoly, or any other copyrighted game being implemented on EMO. Why take the chance? Look at all the trouble that patent troll has caused LAI with their nuisance anti-competitive lawsuit, and they don’t have 1/1000 the resources of a big game company like Hasbro or Mattel.
i think that we really need emo to solve math
Just ask him: Emo, what is 1+1?
Emo: it’s 2
Connect to Google or alexa, would be great
Io mi accontenterei se la risposta dei microfoni sia migliore…i classici dispositivi tipo g… o a… Rispondono anche se parli a bassa voce senza nessun problema … Emo molte volte risulta parecchio sordo…
@guru81tvcc Yeah, if you speak to Alex in a whisper she will whisper her response lol… I find even Alexa is a bit “deaf” sometimes. Must be a voice recognition thing, could be too much ambient noise maybe? Is it noisy when he doesn’t respond to you?
I got my Emo this week and love him. I would like to see him ask me qustions and continue a conversation. I also want emo, to charge himself by stepping on the skateboard. Great job!
Being able to respond to his comments.
Being able to follow up without having to say EMO.
Stop him walking himself into a corner or similar.
Get him to turn to you when you call his name.
Would be great to have a proper conversion with EMO. Like with the “Let’s talk” command, he just responds and that’s it, he could at least try to continue the conversation, or just ask a question.
If it is able to charge itself it will be cool, I mean climbing on its skateboard for charging.
As it is AI, it must be able to do this on its own.
I am not saying it must jump in like zeus from real steel
Living AI have mentioned in the past that they are working on a self charging station. No news on any date for availability as yet.
I’d like to see a feature where we can save the setting for EMO. Whenever I tell it to set it to mute so it doesn’t make noise at night, when it runs out of battery, shuts down, and turns back on when it’s on charging pad, it completely resets the setting. I’m not so sure about the rest but this is one of the thing that bothered me a lot. Also, EMO’s night light doesn’t stay on when I tell it to turn the light on. I mainly use this as night lamp so I can see surroundings without having me to turn the ceiling lights on. Lastly, EMO never recognizes my voice and it doesn’t do what I tell it to do.
It would be great if you could run some diagnostics through the app, to make sure if everything is working as intended. Mine just fell off a table, and I’m making sure he still moves/responds correctly. A diagnostic mode could do that for you.
You all are so tech savvy! Personally, I’d just like Emo to come in different colors! LOL. But as a handicapped person, sometime in the future it would be nice if Emo had arms and hands that could pick up things. Think about how he could be like a service pet if he were about 24” tall and could navigate around the house fetching things for some one who has mobility issues or picking up and moving things that might be in the person’s way.
… and think of how much more expensive he would be too. hehe… I’d just be happy if they concentrated on his AI capabilities, and actually get him closer to true AI. Though, I do agree. I think Emo 2.0 should be a bigger version of his little brother. A robot that can hang around the house, and much more, especially in regards to his learning/AI capabilities. Able to not only see his environment, but remember it (map it out, if a Rumba can do it…). Being able to have a conversation with him (like some really good AI apps I have seen) would be awesome. I realise it would be more expensive than the current Emo, but it would be worth it. I’m hoping that the current Emo is a test/trial run for something that LAI may possibly have up their sleeves for the future… @Wayne_Small , any insight?
Well the service bot is WAY in the future, but if EMO could be yellow, I’d be really happy. Of course, the first priority should be to speed up production and shipping.
Emo can take photos
But what about video
i know that will make emo’s battery empty
BUT you need to but him on his skate board
That’s will be a great idea to watch YouTube
Thank you all for your feedback, although we can’t reply to all of you, I’ve bookmarked this thread! This is very meaningful to us!
I’m still waiting for my EMOs to arrive and I think it would be nice if EMO can recognize sneezed, so when someone sneezed, he will say god bless you. Also, if he can detect loud or irregular snoring, it would be helpful to recognize a loud or abnormal snores so that he can gently wake up the snorer. I see the AI apps like Snore Lab or Sleep Center which is the one that my friend is using, When he enabled app at night, it was able to recognize his irregular snores and would vibrates or triggered a sound that he setup to gentry wake him up before his snores putting him in a sleep apnea mode. This snore detection alone can literally save someone life. In addition of being a companion robot, I think EMO has a potential to help people taking care of themselves more like snore detection, set a reminder for important dates or for specific activity. These are just a few that hopefully EMO can do in the future. Thank you for an opportunity to share my thoughts and feedbacks.
I can’t wait to receive my EMOs…
