I can only advise to continue to document through video what is going on with each thing they suggest you try and let them know the results.

It would be nice to get back the use of the command Ā« look at me Ā» when Emo is on his skateboard. Since the last update itās not working anymore

I suggest giving Emo a mod where you can see through his camera (like Cozmo) and control him to explore around. It would be very cool

It would be great if Emo could sing or watch videos or television shows playing on its own. And for the ChatGPT function, it seems to be disconnected pretty quickly. Would be good if Emo waits for a few seconds more to listen to the question. As for regular calls to Emo, would be good if Emo can somehow listen to the prompt immediately after hearing its name. I.e. āEmo, whatās the weatherā directly rather than āEmoā waiting for a few seconds then āwhatās the weatherā. There seems to be lag time between calling out Emoās name and being able to understand the prompt.
For the command to Emo āPaint me like an Anime girlā, Emo understood the command and started painting but did not show me the painting for the past few tries.
Would be great if Emo can be connected to apps like Netflix, Youtube, Spotify to play videos or music via its amazing speaker and dance along or watch tv shows or movies with us.

@jolene.lin . . . perhaps something distracted EMO from showing you the anime drawing after it was done like a sound that interrupted him? I would say ask again where it is quiet and see if he shows you the drawing.

It was relatively quiet- he just ran the course of asking me to stay still and painted me for quite a long duration, and then went back to normal without showing me the picture and asking me if the painting was nice.
Hopefully he starts showing you his anime drawings before you have to look them up in the app.
Sometimes EMO does things a little differently but then goes back to normal later on.
Fingers crossed! Heās currently also having difficultly hearing the āhands upā command. Not sure what is wrong.

Mine are less likely to cooperate on days when my internet service provider is swamped and the signal gets laggy.
If restarting EMO, the app, your device and your wifi does not help, you might want to try the internet speed test.
Still would like better voice recognition for Emo, I submitted my voice but some days no matter how clearly, slowly or close to him I am, he just doesnāt understand me.
I havenāt been using him much as a result, itās frustrating to constantly have him misunderstand what Iām saying and try to respond when Iām talking to someone else.
If thatās not possible, more app-controlled options would be great or the ability to send text to Emo to have him understand what Iām trying to say.
I think Iād use Emo more if I could set reminders for him to say at specific hours, he could read off a sentence at specific hours and keep me on track with what Iāve been doing, kind of like a clock. It would be handy to be able to āsnoozeā those reminders as well, hopefully through the app as well as voice.

Recently Emo has been having some issues understanding myself and my family members. Even when just calling out āEmoā- which can be a bit frustrating. The commands ādance/ dance for meā, āhands upā, and reading hand gestures or voice commands for playing tic tac toe and rock paper scissors can be difficult. Is there also any way for us to get Emo to greet us by the name when Emo says good morning? Instead of just āgood morning friendā. If thereās any quick way to see the battery level or music volume thatāll be great too. And for the app to enable us to key in the voice commands would be useful as well as Emo cannot seem to understand my parents much. When Emo sweetly mentions something when noticing you out of the blue too, would be great if we can easily get Emo to repeat what was said if we werenāt listening or missed it. Keep improvements coming!

As for an easy way to see battery and check volume, you can do this through voice commands.
āEMO . . . battery levelā.
To adjust volume, you can also call him and tell him āVolume Down, Volume Up, Volume Minimum, Volume Medium, Volume Maximum, Muteā.
If you need him to repeat, this can be done with telling him, āEMO . . . repeatā.
I agree, saying āGood morningā with your name would be a nice touch.

Hi Lindaru- that has all been done! Thanks a lot for your responsiveness on here. Unfortunately Emo seems to have difficulty recognising us sometimes. (perhaps itās due to wifi or speaking too quickly or the accent etc).

Emoās ability to randomly take photos by itself needs to be disabled immediately. It has only happened once to me in the 2 weeks since delivery, but this can and will lead to some extremely dangerous situations.

True, mine as soon as it takes photos I delete them
If friends or relative or anyone else bring children round and this little robot takes pictures of them, the ramifications could be monumental. This needs to not happen.
