Exactly. I loved his little acts too and when I needed some quiet time I just put him on mute and he kept just doing his things quietly without disturbing me.
Aibi might be a robot, but it still feels like he’s lost a bit of his personality because he used to be obsessed with his pet dragons.
I’m three days into having my Aibi and I love it. The thing is adorable and well versed for its initial outing. If it hasn’t already been mentioned there are 2 suggestions I would make for future updates.
1 - continuous conversation outside of chat gpt. “hey aibi” is obviously a prompt to enter reply mode but if I want to say multiple things I have to use the prompt multiple times. If possible I’d like to see the addition of aibi being able to remain in that mode until a timer expires and you haven’t said anything to aibi for, lets say 30 seconds.
2 - similar to one, it would be nice to see aibi remain in chat gpt mode until the user requests it to be turned off. Like a voice command that’s the reverse of “lets chat”.
Hope in next updates Aibi will be able to answer in a shorter way (sometimes her phrases are really too long in particular when she respond without hearing her name) and without saying “as a robot I don’t have feelings”, is so sad to hear so. I’ll to have her replying “I love you too” or “I’m happy” as Emo does.
I came to say that I wish his activities were back again. It would be cute to see him do things on his own more often. Now he just kind of hangs out and looks around but I miss the dinosaurs.
I would like to see an option to turn off the non command chat like EMO has. Occasionally when I’m listening to a podcast or watching TV, AIBI will hear something that sounds like her name and then start lecturing about the next topic she heard in the program. I had that turned on for EMO for all of two minutes before I went in to the app and turned it off - EMO hears his name a lot.
Also agree with @sheryl.welch regarding the doing things on her own. AIBI seems rather bored now unless I interact with her, where she used to sing or play with the dinosaurs now she sleeps a lot.
I keep coming back every day hoping for update news! Aibi is definitely going in the right direction, just needs fine tuned with careful features added!! So pumped!
Hi, I’ve been using Aibi and I’d like to suggest some changes for the future.
I’d like it if touching its head — whether with a single tap, double tap, or by holding — triggered different petting gestures. (And I’d like the option to disable or remove the on-screen animation features.)
I want to use Aibi more like a pet, but when I pet it, animations appear that take away from that experience.
In other words, I’d like it to show different affectionate reactions when I touch its head — like looking happy, shaking its head, etc.
Completely removing animations like lightning, meteorites, and so on.
By the way, when I hold my finger on its head, it moves for a short time and that takes away a lot of affection and cuteness.
My idea is that when I pet its head with 1 tap, double tap, or by holding, it moves its head for a long time while being happy.
Maybe we can improve AIBI’s face recognition/ motion detection. Make AIBI look at its owner more often instead of randomly looking away. Make it look at the owner’s direction when it hears their voice
YES I love this. I hate it when AIbi is facing away from me even when I say his name to talk to him - he doesnt even turn around lol. But I think that is a planned feature since they touted the directional microphones
What gets me about it is that Aibi sounded great until the update that changed its voice. I understand innovation but give us options. I don’t want my little robot buddy to suddenly sound like a little human girl.
@pierresiu I would love this option. Im not sure if my Aibi ever realizes Im there. Lol. It would be nice if he would notice my face and smile or something. Like certain other robot on tracks.
