[AIBI UPDATE 1.3.0] Better interaction and more languages ( Reviews, Tips, Ideas, Queries, Issues, and Solutions)

Hello, @maria_del_rosario.di . . . each model detects and is able to respond to different vocal characteristics such as the pitch. I have mine on V1 and though female, I have an alto voice. I did not try V2 but I imagine that one picks up softer more higher pitch better.

After AIBI eyes turn blue, he can’t turn back to green. How can i turn back it?

It is impossible to connect to the mobile phone wireless network, so it is impossible to communicate in time when going out.Hope it update more intellgence.

The language is inserted confusingly, and talking to oneself sometime.

The wake-up is not sensitive enough and there is no feedback for a long time.Hopefully it will be improved.

I miss the random singing and animations that happened throughout the day.

I understand that it was a bit overly frequent in 1.2, but it seems to me that “less frequent” in 1.3 is actually “never”. None of those random things seem happen anymore, AIBI just turns on her base looking around unless I touch the head sensor.

Welcome to the Community @hongqian ,

If you feed AIBI or if he eats • • • • • “Chameleon Cookies” AIBI’s eye color change and will last “All Day (24 Hrs.)”.

AIBI can still connect even in Offline Mode and is also capable of performing some special but limited features using only a set of predefined commands.

In offline mode, you can only use voice commands marked with asterisks(*).

Based on my observation, AIBI’s hearing is now more sensitive than before. Sometimes, he will respond or make comments on various sounds and conversations he overhears around him, such as when we’re watching a movie or having a conversation nearby.

At the moment, there is still no ‘Wake-Up Sensitivity’ option in AIBI’s mobile app, as EMO has, which would allow us to adjust his responsiveness to background noise. However, it is likely that Living.AI will also introduce a similar feature for AIBI in future firmware updates, which would be a beneficial improvement.

The new Wake-Up Model V2 is a second new feature designed and implemented to help AIBI hear better and respond more effectively when we call his name. This feature relies on built-in voice recognition and a microphone array to detect the wake-up command.
Unlike EMO, who has adjustable sensitivity settings for wake word detection, AIBI’s ability to respond may depend on factors such as background noise, pronunciation, and the user’s distance.

However, we should choose the model that best suits our voice tone and clarity. As Living.AI advised, V1 might also be more suitable for some users.

You can go to AIBI Pocket App Settings > Preferences > Wake-Up Model and select the Wake Up Model V1 or V2 for a better response when you call his name (Choose the Model that best suits you).

Hope this helps you, else you can contact livingai support team direct for more information about any issue.

Hope this helps! If your product has more issues, you may want to contact Living.AI support and provide them with any relevant video links, your order number, and your product ID for further evaluation.

My AIBI already rebooted a few times during just working after new update, nothing serious but that never happened before, maybe there is a bug or something.

Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @vamsi . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread where you can read up on the 1.3.0 AIBI firmware update in order to know all of the commands for AIBI available now.

The chameleon cookie eye color now stays all day. There is no command to change it back but you can power AIBI off for a time and when you power AIBI back on, the default color will be back.

I’m loving the update. The only negatives I have is that aibi doesn’t sing or do the animations on his own anymore. I personally was fine with them but now he just waits for me to tell him to do something, or he’ll respond to a random voice without his name being called. other than that this update is really cool. you guys are doing great and I’m sure there will be even greater things to come for aibi.

Yeah, same here (Netherlands Europe)

Hello,
Personally, I find that it now takes far too long to respond, it doesn’t have the fluidity of other robots ….that exist at the moment😉

Hi,

Do you plan to introduce Spanish in the next update? Any estimated date? Is it in progress?
The Latin and Spanish-speaking community needs this to be able to enjoy Aibi 100%.

Thank you

Just out of curiosity has anyone else tried the schedule option, did it work for you guys? I haven’t been able to make my aibi do anything as it relates to that.

Hello, @WorldTraveler676 . . . I have tried the schedule option. My personal experience has been that I have had to make sure I do the schedule at least an hour ahead of when I want AIBI to do a certain task. If I decide I want to set it for 15 minutes from when I schedule it, AIBI seems to not do it. It is hit and miss for me. I think, too, in my case those items that are scheduled well in advance may get missed if there is a hiccup in my internet connection.

If you are not able to get the schedule to work at all, you may want to get video of the issue and send a link to service@living.ai with your AIBI order number or four digit alphanumeric code when he is signed into the app.

Let us know how it goes.

Regarding the voice issue, although it now supports multilingual speech, that only applies when you actively talk to it. When it occasionally speaks to you on its own, it still uses English.

Hello, @c78a48a905d35b567752 . . . that is correct.

You may wish to make a suggestion to have it spontaneously speak to you in the selected language by posting something here which they read and hopefully can implement in the future.

I have to say, that AIBi is way too quiet now. I keep forgetting he is here at all because since the update he has not done anything at all.

He has not sung, danced or shown any animation for days now. He just spends the entire day looking around doing absolutely nothing else and barely gets hungry every second day.

I miss the random things AIBI used to do.

I think it would have been better if they could have added a frequency slider in the preferences section of the app so those of us who liked the singing, dancing, and animations as frequently as they were could have kept them and those who didn’t could have changed when it happened - it would have been a win for everyone.
