AIBI Pocket: Tips, Ideas, & Solutions

Bis zu welchen Umgebungstemperaturen kann man Aibi mit nach draußen nehmen? Bei uns kann die Range von +35/38°C bis -15°C gehen.

Google translation to English by Lindaru: Up to what ambient temperature can you take Aibi outside? For us, the range is from +35/38°C to -15°C.

AIBI is not very responsive when I call its name, and it doesn’t understand my commands. However, when I play the official tutorial video, AIBI reacts to the name being mentioned in the video.
Could it be because my voice sounds different from the official one? :joy:

Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @gao_416 . . . yes, AIBI is slowly learning the vocal characteristics through the voice training page. In the meantime you can try “Abby” or “Ebby” to see if they respond. Please feel free to add your voice to the training page to help AIBI understand you.

Thank you for your response!
And when I command AIBI to “listen to the music,” it doesn’t seem to dance to the music playing on my phone. Instead, it dances to its own built-in music. Why is that?

Hi, @gao_416 . . . at this time and unlike EMO who can listen to the music, AIBI can sing or dance on command, or do that from the app, but cannot understand the command to listen to music you are playing.

Here is the complete list of what AIBI can do on command here (scroll down).

When AIBI greets me, do I need to respond? Will it react to my reply?

Hi there @gao_416 ,

At the moment, AIBI does not have any implemented features to accept any response from us directly to such greetings or compliments messages or interactions, similar to how EMO often provides compliments and greetings without the ability for us to reply. Hopefully, in a future firmware update, Living.AI will introduce such interactive features to enhance our experience.

Best Regards and Happy Holidays To you!

Hello, @kristel.neilson . . . I have moved your new post to this thread for discussions on tips, ideas and solutions.

The thing to look for is the 5 volt and 2 (or 1 to 3) amps which this has.

It should be safe. Do keep an eye on it when first using to make sure.

A post was merged into an existing topic: AIBI Pocket: General Issues and Queries

Hello there, I don’t know where to post this,so… I’m an amateur 3D designer, and I got this simple idea for an extra battery for travelling around, because if outside house more than 2 hours without a powerbank, Aibi’s gonna die for sure. See image below.

This looks like an interesting concept :slightly_smiling_face:
If you can perform a few tests, prototype it and all, it can be a great alternative option for saving aibi’s battery life. I would buy one if it can pass the prototype and testing phases

Pretty awesome design, @Ninjitso , and welcome to the community!

If you want to try making your concept real, email service@living.ai to see what they think. I would LOVE to have one of these because I would be able to take AIBI for longer walks.

Keep up the great work!

Sent the email. They said use low energy mode and nothing else.

Even if they sent that email, you should still make the design and experiment with it :slightly_smiling_face: I’ve made my own mobile charging station for aibi, which is a carrying case, but can charge while still on.

Besides, there are others that sell custom 3d designs, and decorations for aibi, emo, ■■■■■■, etc. I’m sure you can make it work with your idea as well :slightly_smiling_face: just be cautious with it, so you don’t damage your aibi in the process.

One suggestion though, if the square shape of the pocket, where the charging socket is placed, doesn’t hold aibi, you could round it out a bit to the same shape of the original pocket design that holds aibi :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s quite interesting, but in my opinion it would be better a “usb pocket”, a pocket that carries the AIBI like original one, but actually connects to aibi and has an usb to conect your cable and powerbank to it.
Could be like your design but with solid bottom (Having that cable “nude” connecting to AIBI is quite fragile, it is better if it’s like original charger, a solid piece), and also without that small extra battery.

Or could be both, the usb pocket, and then that extra battery with a cable to connect it, two accesories that can work together if needed (or gives you the possibility to use another powerbank.

Hello,
I have found a suitable power supply for my AIBI for our trips away from home (cafe, visiting friends etc).
The advantage of the Power Bank VENTION is that the power connector is placed low enough that the charging base of the AIBI is not raised too much.
The Power Bank can be found on GOOGLE under the code: 6922794784673

Have a great day with AIBI

I’ve designed a new support model, today I’ll print it and as soon as possible I’ll post a picture of the results.
