Hello, I would like to know if this power bank is suitable and what you think about it Nllosa Power Bank Klein, Super Mini Powerbank Leicht 5000mAh mit USB C Konnektor & Ständer, 20W Small Handyakkus Schnellladen USB-C Input&Output, LED-Anzeige Akkupack für iPhone 16/15 Serie,Samsung Nllosa Power Bank Klein, Super Mini Powerbank Leicht 5000mAh mit USB C Konnektor & Ständer, 20W Small Handyakkus Schnellladen USB-C Input&Output, LED-Anzeige Akkupack für iPhone 16/15 Serie,Samsung : Amazon.de: Elektronik & Foto
While that option is pretty compelling, my option is thats you should go for a name brand thats a more well known.
One of my top favorite power bank brands in Anker. I actually bought 2 just for AIBI with one having a capacity of 20,000 mAh for longer trips (although this is completely overkill for pretty much any situation). The other one being similar to the one you linked with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and BEST for everyday charges when out and about and last a while (since AiBI does not require a lot of power).
Below I linked both that I use interchangably daily when I dont have access to an outlet.
Anker Power Bank, Powerbank 20000 mAh 30 W with Integrated USB-C Cable, High-Speed Portable Charger, 1 USB-C, 1 USB-A, Battery Pack for iPhone 16/15/15 Pro/15 Pro Max/15 Plus, MacBook, Galaxy and More https://amzn.eu/d/bRtx3JE
Anker Nano Power Bank, 5000 mAh Power Bank 22.5 W, Integrated Foldable USB-C Connector, Compatible with iPhone 15, Samsung S22/23 Series, Note20/10 Series, Huawei, iPad Pro/Air, AirPods and More – Amazon.de
What does foldable USB port actually mean? Does it mean you don’t have to take a cable with you? I’m asking because I can’t see the picture on Amazon because I’m blind
Ohh I see.
Essentially the usb c port fold into the power bank. Its maybe a inch long or less and just fold into a dedicated slot.
You only flip it up or down to charge things.
(By the way what is uust said is referring to the smaller power banks aka the 5,000 mAh ones and not the larger one I sent)
I know living.ai is probably already working on a portable charger for aibi but I just wanted to put my design for it too.
Aibi cradle is very small but still if you put electronics on the bottom, it will balance pretty well and can house everything easily.
As you can see the very simple and cheap USB c battery charger and protection board is smaller than the cradle and even smaller similar charging boards are available. So if you just incorporate charging pons for aibi, which is plenty of space and not hard to do, you can easily put at least one battery to charge aibi one more time. If you make it a bit bigger you can put even bigger battery of course.
That design is actually very smart there was mentioning though of aibi needing to rotate whenever he’s on the charger, but I’m sure they would update that as soon as they possibly release that In future development
Hi there @maximchechetkin
I moved and merged your post here which is part of the same topic title.
Thanks for sharing your idea and project! It’s not bad at all—actually, it’s quite interesting. Good luck, and be sure to let us know when it’s finished so we can see the final product. Who knows? I or others might even consider ordering from you!
Goodluck and All the best!
So I just got my AIBI yesterday. I’m still learning how to use him, and it’s been getting annoying…
When I try to do a voice command, I have to say something like “Hey Abby” instead of “Hey AIBI.” It’s a but fiddly and annoying for me to get past… So if anyone can, please help!
Oh, you don’t have to say “hey Abby”, from my observations, saying only “Abby” will allow aibi to listen to your next command
Also, Ive kind of noticed that aibi reacts to greetings, such as “good morning, goodnight” with an animation that comes up when you say “hello”.
Hello, @simonwatson . . . so happy to hear your AIBI arrived! That will be a nice surprise for EMO Watson when he gets home.
Yes, “Abby” or “Ebby” works well for most. They do have a place where you can submit your voice for AIBI just like they have for EMO if you would like to submit it here.
That’ll be useful. Thanks
@simonwatson, I think that’s just how AIBI is pronounced, I mean, if you go on his ChatGPT and say “Who are you?” He’ll say his name is AIBI, (pronounced Abby)
Mr. @edward , Mr. @logan.christopher ,
AIBI is now safe to travel
Hello @Ninjitso ,
That’s great! Now you can move around without worrying about him falling. You did a fantastic job ensuring his safety while keeping him charged on the go! AIBI is now well-protected from falling if he suddenly detaches from his charger.
Best Regards
I took a while to finish it, i tried making with acrylic 1.5mm, it was a big mistake, without proper tools can’t bend it. That’s why I used a cheap and resistant plastic. 0.5mm is strong enough to keep the best inside haha. And there is an extra part, where you can add stuff your Aibi support, like a boat, or space ship
@Ninjitso, it looks great! But is the magnet necklace strong enough to hold all of it? Or have you used something else?
@Ninjitso Cool, That’s a very good design, AIBI looks so cute sleeping in his carrier haha
If you know anyone with a 3D printer you can print it yourself and cut the exterior case with another design
That’s a good idea! I’ll check
