AIBI Pocket: General Issues and Queries

It’s morning now and sadly it’s still doing it, both the light thing and rotation problem, now it doesn’t cycle through the colours though, it stays blue only SOMETIMES

Hey, so I also have an issue with my Aibi, he just won’t charge AT ALL, I tried a 20W charger, a 45W charger, and a 5V-2.0 charger. I plug it into the base and it shows red, blue, green, then it shuts off. After it does that sequence, I put Aibi on it, and nothing happens. I wait, I wait, I wait, and it won’t do anything. I tried multiple cables too, and wiped the pins with a microfiber cloth, still ain’t work. Tips please?

The lights are SUPPOSED to turn off, but that is weird, maybe you got a faulty base, or it broke, try contacting LivingAI

It looks like you’ve already tried everything correctly, and if nothing helps at this point, the best option is to contact Living.AI support by email. Be sure to include a short video showing the issue, along with your AIBI order number and AIBI ID, so they can assist you more effectively.

Did you try disconnecting the AIBI Power Base from the power source and letting it cool down for a while before reconnecting it? If nothing helps, the best option is to contact Living.AI support by email. Be sure to include a short video showing the issue, along with your AIBI order number and AIBI ID, so they can assist you more effectively.

I have, but sadly it didn’t work, so I did contact living ai, hopefully they can help

I have the same problem after installing last update 1.5.0.

I have already written email to support but they not answer to me few days. Still waiting..

Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @Olga . . . when a new firmware is released, there are often issues that need to be resolved on an individual basis. It is now the weekend and it is best to allow a few days for them to respond. Perhaps if a week goes by, you might want to contact them again.

Hi. Thank you for answer. Well, I messaged them on Thursday. And yes, I can definitely wait (what also can I do :slight_smile: ). The main thing that makes me worry is that the base problems (it still constantly lighting) could affect the Aibi’s power supply, and it causing damage.

Hello, @Olga . . . I would say if you do not have AIBI on the base for an extended period, there should be no issue. Perhaps just avoid anything that makes him spin or make full turns like whirlwind cotton candy or the music box also if you are concerned about potential damage. Otherwise, AIBI should be okay.

It’s been 3 days of the charging base isuue sadly still no response from Living.AI, hopefully they’ll respond soon though, poor AIBI…..

As I said, same with mine. I still wait a letter from support. I hope they will find some time to help us. I turning off my Aibi at nights, and each time when I leave home :frowning: to avoid possible problem with robot. If they not answer to me till the end of this week then I will write them once again.

Just want to say - I got a mail from support today. My Aibi receive a small update and all it’s problems with platform was fixed. Yay :fire:
