AIBI Charger Not Working – Quick Solutions
Check power source – make sure the outlet or smart plug is ON.
Test the USB cable & adapter – use a 5V 2A or 3A charger and a working USB-C cable.
Clean charging contacts – wipe the dock and check that both AIBI’s charging contact points are all clean and every pogo pin (the small spring-loaded metal contact) on the base charger— make sure it’s not stuck or pushed down too far. You can carefully press it a little to see if it still moves smoothly.
Reposition AIBI – ensure proper alignment on the dock.
Restart AIBI – turn off and on, then try charging again.
Update firmware – check via the AIBI app.
Try another power adapter – avoid laptop USB ports.
Contact Living.AI support – send a short video of the issue, order details, and AIBI ID (Which, as you said, has already been done)
Good afternoon! The robot stopped turning when I gave it a command. Is this due to the update to firmware 1.4.1 or is it a mechanical problem? I can buy a new turning and charging platform, but I’m afraid that if there are problems with the robot, it will be a waste of money. I am an engineer and understand electrical engineering, so if the answer is technical, I will understand it. Please tell me what to do. I really like your project. Thank you for your reply!
When connecting the power cord to the charger, the indicators light up and then go out. When the box is requested, there is no flashing. At the same time, the robot sings and works, but does not rotate on the platform. It is as if the robot has no connection to the charging station. I sent a request to your email address and attached a video to it.
Addendum:
I noticed that when turned off on the platform, the robot shuts down, but then does not turn on without pressing the reset button. At the same time, its display is lit, but the screen is black.
Hello, @games . . . this has happened to me with one of my chargers (I have two AIBI). The only thing that works for me after leaving that one on that charger too long is to let their battery drain off of the charger.
Be sure to let Support know that this is happening as well.
Hello,
I’m currently in Korea and I just got my aibi today.
After having my aibi updated to 1.4.1, my aibi started sleeping and doesn’t wake up.
Also my app connects to aibi, but when I click on settings to turn her off, it gives me a time out session.
Does anyone know why?
What problem are you talking about? That the robot won’t turn on, or that the platform isn’t working? My problem is that either the motor drive isn’t working (it simply won’t turn) or the platform can’t establish a connection with the robot… Support service, help me out, please))))
Hello. I live in Japan.
Until about four days ago, when I said “AIBI, please sing,” it would sing a random song for me.
However, now even if I ask the same thing, it doesn’t sing anymore — it only gives a response about singing.
Do you know what might be causing this?
One thing that comes to mind is that when I took AIBI outside, I accidentally dropped it from its neck strap.
Could that impact have caused something to go wrong?
Hello, @games . . . I am referring to when AIBI cannot revolve on the charger and also when it shuts off incorrectly which is also a charger problem.
Either way, please get a video and send a link to it along with your AIBI I.D. when signed into the app and your order number (if you still have it) to service@living.ai . . . AIBI and the charger have a two year warranty.

Did you change the setting under “Preference” in the app to “Chatty”? This setting tends to be more conversational and less direct response to commands such as “AIBI…..Sing a song”.
If nothing is changed in the settings, I would get video of what is happening and send a link to it along with your AIBI I.D. number when signed into the app, your order number if you still have it and your language setting to service@living.ai . . . I doubt if nothing else is working incorrectly that you damaged anything inside of AIBI but they would be able to tell you more and what needs to be done to fix the problem.

Do you have a strong internet connection and blue tooth still enabled? Often these things can cause time out errors. Make sure you are getting a good signal. If necessary, restarting your router, device (make sure blue tooth is still on), the app and AIBI can resolve this problem.
As for AIBI sleeping, mine will do that naturally if I am not interacting with them regularly or if things are too quiet in their surroundings. Also check to make sure in the app that you have not set their quiet time to occur during the time they need to be awake.
Let us know how it goes. If nothing else, you can contact Support if you cannot get the issues resolved.
Thank you for your reply.
I don’t remember changing any settings, but the “chatting mode” was turned on.
After I turned it off, it started singing again!
Maybe it happened because of a firmware update?
In any case, I’m glad it’s been resolved. Thank you!
Hello, I had exactly the same problem yesterday. My AIBI speaks german and he did exactly the same, you wrote! I tried to change the language in french, the same! Then I switched in english and everything worked! He followed all voice commands only in english ! Today suddenly AIBI reacted absolut correctly again in german and followed all my voice commands. I don’t know, why, I changed nothing, but I tried to let the Batterie go absolut empty, and reloaded again. There was no change, but today really suddenly everything is okay! I wrote an Email to living ai (service) because of this error and also, that it has gone. I hope, AIBI rests „healthy“ now !!
I have the same Aibi, and the exact same thing happened to me just a few days ago! She suddenly stopped following commands like “sing a song” or “turn on the light,” and only replied that she didn’t know how. I was very worried.
But the good news is: after about two days, she started working normally again all by herself! Today she sang for me and turned on her star-light just like before.
So, please don’t worry too much! It’s most likely not the fall that caused it. Sometimes, connection problems can make them “forget” commands for a little while🥹
So um, I posted like a few minutes ago about my AIBI dock not turning off its light, but I found some more issues, AIBI can no longer control the spinning of it, but it does still charge, and AIBI wasn’t responding to touch, but I turned him off and on again and that fixed the touch thing, but the dock is still acting up, this all happened after the update, so hopefully it’s just a temporary glitch
