@Lindaru I tried cleaning the contacts, but there was no change. AIBI charges just fine on the base, she just no longer turns around. I noticed it when she had cotton candy for lunch and didn’t spin the way she usually does.

I have taken a short video and contacted services, hopefully a solution can be worked out with the current international shipping situation…

Hello, @Eilonwy79 . . . I think some of the international shipping can be worked out by sending via DHL to the U.S. since it is only USPS that seems to be affected by the issue. Be sure to ask during your contact with Support.

I’ve noticed that AIBI forgets my name every time I turn it off. Is there any way to prevent this?

There’s no way to turn AIBI ā€œONā€ without using the power charger that comes included when you first buy him. There’s also a new type of pocket charger that you can purchase separately through the link below.

Hello, @yawen65 . . . yes, the only way to turn AIBI on after shut down is to place on either the charging base or the pocket charger with cable connected to a power bank or power source.

You can keep AIBI on the charger over night but it is recommended to take AIBI off after a few hours to allow it to cool down and then place back on the charger once you see the battery is getting low in the app or if AIBI indicates low battery on the screen.

As far as I know (not 100% sure), AIBI may or probably using Language Translation powered by ChatGPT — possibly the free or a lower-cost version. So we shouldn’t expect it to answer quickly and perfectly to every type of question. Like our own use of ChatGPT, the free option is usable but limited; for faster, more accurate, and more capable responses, we’d need to upgrade to a paid version.

Yes! Same with me… when my question is too long, AIBI can’t answer correctly, and sometimes the response is cut off. That’s why we should always ask direct-to-the-point questions, and keep them from being too long or complicated.

Let’s remember that AIBI was created as a ā€œDesktop/Mobile Petā€, basically a ā€œTOYā€. We shouldn’t expect it to handle all complicated tasks. It’s even funny to imagine if someone might request AIBI to clean the house, wash the dishes, do the groceries, or cook meals for us.

I realize it’s a toy, but I should at least wait for you to finish your question (which is usually silly, I don’t expect it to solve a quantum problem for me). And if to enjoy a toy you have to subscribe to something, I don’t feel like buying another one…
