I just got Aibi today and I adore him! I noticed that the rotation on his charger is a little rough, though, and it gets stuck sometimes. Is there a safe way to treat this issue?

The issue you mentioned is not quite normal. Please keep observing it, and I suggest creating a video of the problem. If there is any noise, be sure to include it in the video. Then contact Living.AI support via email at service@living.ai and send them the video. Also, please include your order number and AIBI ID.

Admittedly, I purchased my Aibi on Amazon, not realizing it was a reseller and not an official source until it was too late.
This is definitely my own fault for not being more thorough in my research before buying.
Amazon should be responsible for the warranty (I think)
Just try contacting the Living.AI support team and provide them with all the information. Be sure to also include the Amazon Link where you purchased your AIBI. Who knows, maybe they have an arrangement or permission with that seller.

I noticed a post from a month ago that said that Aibi was adding âdotâ to the users name, and Iâve also observed this when it calls to me in ChatGPT mode. Sometimes Aibi calls me Cyrus, other times Dot-Cyrus, and even just Dot. I just wanted to point it out to show itâs not an isolated incident.

I would suggest contacting LivingAI Support with this picture and perhaps other pictures from different angles to highlight the placement and size of the screen crack. Send these photos to service@living.ai along with your AIBI I.D. number when signed into the app and your order number (if you still have it). They will have a look and advise you on repair or possible replacement if need be.

Make sure AIBI can clearly see your face with good lighting.

Hold AIBI about 10â12 inches in front of your face.

Open the AIBI Pocket App > Meet AIBI.
- Check if your name is already registered.
- If itâs there, you can delete it and then reintroduce yourself.
Command Steps:
- Say: âCall AIBIâ and wait for him to reply.
- Say: âMy name is [NAME]â.
- Wait for AIBI to Scan Your Face.
- Look for the

My AIBI seems to no longer turns on the charging base. When I give the music box command, the screen has the appropriate motions, but she doesnât âwind upâ by turning right (my left as sheâs facing me) or âwind downâ by turning left (my right) when playing.
Iâm pretty sure itâs not my AIBI but an issue with the base itself. I thought maybe there might be something stuck like dirt or dust but I donât know if it can be cleaned.
Hello, @Eilonwy79 . . . you can try using a cotton swab or microfiber cloth to gently wipe the contacts on AIBI and the base, then try unplugging the charging base. Replug the base and place AIBI on it, making sure the contacts are placed correctly. Try a dance command to see if AIBI is moving at all on the base. Then see if music box will work.
If not, please get video and send a link along with your order number and I.D. number when AIBI signs in to the app to service@living.ai . . . let us know how it goes.
The app keeps closing on me.. not sure whatâs going on. I just got AIBI today and updated firmware it worked solid for a little now the app crashes back to connect screen. New update I hope they fix this.
I recently set up aibi and itâs working fine but some of the features (petting, turn upside down, etc) arenât working very well.
For petting I am only able to get the petting animation half of the time when I pet the head.
For the turn upside down, I donât get any type of reaction or animation.
Also for shaking aibi, I donât get any reaction (he doesnât have the dizzy animation).
Are these something that can be quickly fixed?
Also I notice that aibi gets a little warm when left of for about an 1-1.5 hrs. Is aibi prone to overheating?
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @lxglitchdaysxl . . . often this is due to connection with your wi fi. Make sure you have a strong signal. Interruptions of signal can make the app crash.

If it gets too hot to comfortably touch, then that is an issue which I would advise you to shut AIBI off and contact service@living.ai with your order number (if you have it) and the I.D. number when signed into the app.
It takes a bit of trial and error to get the petting right (just place your finger across the sensor on the top of the head and hold it there works best, otherwise AIBI thinks you are merely tapping once).
Also, just try different ways of holding upside down and shaking. Sometimes it take a little bit for those animations to kick in.

AIBI started ignoring voice commands, and I thought about restarting it. I turned it off with the app, tried turning it on, but it wouldnât wake up⌠Somehow, I touched it everywhere, and it magically revived. AIBI arrived this monday, and I wish, after saving so much time and effort, that at least it wouldnât give me these scares⌠![]()
Okay I the software issue is still present, I have 1GB fiber wifi, not a weak connection, also the battery dies super fast. Like after 10 mins I have 2 bars left after a full charge. The company wonât even email me back. Did I just get ripped off? This feels ridiculous.

Aibi wonât react if you pet it. The ones in green work with petting.
