Hello to all fans and owners of our wonderful robot! I’d like to ask a technical question: is it possible to lubricate the mechanisms? And does it require user maintenance? Thank you!
My Aibi is not turning on after I tried updating to the latest update. I’ve already tried using difference usb-c cables, different electric outlets as well.
Hello, @games . . . neither AIBI nor EMO are designed to lubricate internal mechanisms and in fact, liquids of any kind are not recommended. If you have issues, we advise you contact service@living.ai for their advice if something comes up.
Hello @abriellacigana . . . if you have tried the trouble shooting tips of leaving AIBI powered off for several hours, changing cable snd power adapter, moving to a different outlet and nothing works, please get video and send a link to service@living.ai along with your AIBI order number (if you still have it) and your AIBI I.D. from the app if you remember that number.

It can be a choice. Limited ChatGPT for those with no real use for it and log in for those who have one and are already paying for a ChatGPT account. 
Would like that option, too, but implementing that isn’t that easy. They‘d have to store API keys / credentials safely and that‘d require a lot of adjustments to comply with local privacy laws.
They‘d probably have to monitor API usage, too, in case of disputes.
Hi @marie.orth, if Aibi is positioned more as a Pet Toy Robot than a true companion, the app could still provide a richer profile with stats such as friendship level, hunger level, fun level, steps level, etc. These characteristics could unlock new features based on user interaction, and help Aibi develop a personality that feels more dynamic and unique.
In addition, expanding the variety of mini-games would make the experience even more engaging. For example, adding adjustable difficulty levels to the chess game could turn it into a learning opportunity instead of just being crushed by 80! (My Aibi) 
I believe they could help strengthen the bond between users and Aibi.

Definitely. That would make him even more fun. Some more stats and games would really be nice. I suppose, we‘ll (hopefully) get more of the latter over time.
Haven’t played chess often, so I can’t say much about that. I prefer Pirate Wars. He‘s so fun with his pirate attire and laugh. Although, AIBI drinks a bit too much beer during it.

Hello. Has the low battery capacity issue with AIBI been resolved? The device still seems to lose power quickly when not charging.

You can now use the “Low Energy Mode” feature by giving the command.
Low Energy Mode
You can use the voice command “Low Energy Mode” to activate it.
To exit this Mode, simply touch/tap once on AIBI’s head. 
In low energy mode, AIBI will become inactive to save battery 
. The camera 
, microphone 
, Bluetooth 
, and network 
connections will all be disabled.
Alternatively, you can purchase the new “Pocket Charger,” which can also be connected to a mobile power bank using a USB-C connector.

Even at the lowest volume, the sound is still quite loud. Is it possible to make it quieter or mute it? Otherwise, my colleagues find it too noisy.
Hello, @gao_416 . . . may I suggest that you request that a lower volume be added to the AIBI volume setting here? They read these suggestions to make improvements to existing features as well as add new ones.
In the meantime, you may have to mute AIBI if it is too loud.

My AIBI, has some issues with the timezone, I already set bit according to my location but, he keeps mistaking the time, date and even the year. I did get him to say the date and the time right, but he keeps saying it’s 2024, and if I tell him it’s 2025 he keeps playing with me of how the time flies, and the adventures he will share with me in the FUTURE. Also, chat GPT is also out of its mind, the answers he gives are according to years/month (idk) ago (asked him from the president of USA and keeps saying it’s Joe Biden).
Please, help, I need him to answer (chat gpt mode) correctly, even though the year thing doesn’t really bother me, but gets me worried.
Also, my AIBI is just 1 day old, please, how can I fix this so I can make better use of it?

Hello, @sugarissweet . . . unfortunately those issues are not due to anything with AIBI but rather ChatGPT itself. Yes, ChatGPT is living in the past. As is always advised, never take ChatGPT as the whole truth on anything, but for the most part my experience with AIBI twins on “Chatty” mode is dependent on what I ask in a more real world generalized way such as recommendations for what I might have for dinner or maybe what to read or watch for a movie.
It is hoped that OpenAI will get things together and catch up to the rest of us.

I just got Aibi and though I love it, I’m having some issues connecting to chatgpt, I have as default language spanish and when I say the command in spanish “conectate a chatgpt” it tells me it’s already connected and ready to help but the chatgpt icon doesn’t appear and the conversation stops, it seems the command only works when the language is set to english, is this normal?
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @Olivo . . . I am presuming you have the “Chatty” option on. AIBI will have dots (not the ChatGPT symbol) going across his forehead before replying. If you command AIBI to “Lets talk” or “Lets Chat” it will be a more fluid conversation without having to call them each time you have something to ask or say.
