AIBI is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as described in the manual (AIBI is clearly connected to the internet, as it is able to answer questions that require online access to retrieve information.). The app has been set up, and the “Meet AIBI” process was completed. Bluetooth is also active and connected.
AIBI is able to remember the name for a short period of time, as if it were stored in a temporary buffer, but it eventually forgets it — regardless of whether the app is connected or not.
There was also a short conversation about hobbies. AIBI remembered them for a while but forgot them later as well. This was just a test to see what AIBI is capable of. I had assumed that it might be possible to store a personality profile in the cloud.
However, for now, the main issue is user recognition — including my name (and face).
Best regards,
Rollratte
P.S.: I don’t see a specific option or button labeled “Recognition” in the app — only “Meet AIBI,” which I’ve already completed. There, I entered my name so AIBI could take a photo, but I don’t see a profile picture linked to the name anywhere.
Final note — I could probably write a novel at this point
After repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and going through the “Meet AIBI” process several times, AIBI now says: “I can’t recognize you because I can’t access visual data.”
There have been other contradictory statements as well — for instance, AIBI claimed it doesn’t have a camera, even though I’ve successfully tested its ability to take photos. At this point, I’ve tried everything: powering AIBI off for extended periods, letting it boot up fully in the background, avoiding immediate speech or touch after startup, etc.
So with all that said — I’m still hoping something positive will happen and will now wait for your reply. Thank you
