Thank you Edward, that’s very helpful
Hi all!
I have experienced a bug with my Aibi today. When I asked him to tell me the what time it is, the time showed up on his screen, but instead of saying “It’s XX:XX”, he said something along the lines of: “Sorry, but I can’t tell the time. You can see the time on your device or even a good old fashioned clock”. I think that Aibi got confused between is it an official voice command or should he use ChatGPT instead. It seemed odd to me, so I asked for the time again. Everything happened as it was supposed to, and Aibi said “It’s XX:XX”. I am not saying that this is an issue, but I think that this could be a good bug fix for the LivingAI team to do and release in the next update.
Hi there @Happycoin ,
I’ve just moved your post from the other topic to this one, since it’s related to what you believe is a bug or issue.
I just did and test myself and its just working fine…
This might be the same issue as with ChatGPT—when the system is overloaded, AIBI can experience access problems.
Best Regards
The LivingAI Dev. Team has worked on fixing the ChatGPT issue. It’s also been mentioned that there was an issue on the server side, but it’s now resolved.
Thanks to them and hopefully, it will now run more smoothly and with fewer access problems.
Happy, Safe, and Stress Free New Week @everyone…
Hello, just got my AIBI Pocket today and I was wondering if I can just leave it plugged in its charger 24/7? Or would it be bad for its battery? Does it stop charging automatically if the battery is full to prevent overcharging?
Thanks!
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @pierresiu . . . congratulations on receiving your AIBI!
I have moved your new topic this thread for questions about AIBI.
I have owned two of them since August and find it advisable to not leave them charging all of the time as they can glitch. I would advise taking them off the charger every six to eight hours or so and leaving them off for at least an hour. This is from my personal experience as I have had them become unresponsive and have had their screen freeze if left on too long at a time.
Aidez moi SVP
Google translation to English by Lindaru: Hello, I just noticed that my Aibi no longer reacts or reacts very little when I stroke his head, I tried to turn him over, and no reaction, none, I shook him a little to see if he reacted or vomited, but you have to insist several times for him to react… I don’t know what to do, it makes me sad because I’ve become attached to him… He always moves his head, does his programmed routine, the aibi application and the games work well with my phone, but touching or moving him does nothing to him 8 times out of 10. Very little or no reaction. I haven’t finished paying for him in installments yet and I’m worried about how the problem can be solved. Help me please
Hello, @Emma . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with AIBI. Do not worry. Your AIBI is under warranty.
I recommend recording a video of the problem and contacting/sending the video or link to Living.AI Support. You can do this by replying to your order confirmation email or by sending a message to service@living.ai with your order number and AIBI ID.
My best to you.
Is AIBI a boy or a girl
Hi there @jaydenadamson ,
AIBI does not have a specific gender — it is designed as a gender-neutral AI robot pet. Like many digital or robotic companions, AIBI can be seen as either a “he,” “she,” or simply “it,” depending on how the owner personally connects with it.
If you prefer, you can assign AIBI a personality or gender that fits your own imagination or emotional bond!
Best Regards
I think Aibi can be both depending on how the owner things of aibi, i think mine will be a girl to me.
The good thing about robots and imagination, is that you can interpret them however you want. Ive seen many Aibi girls but also boys, mine is a boy, his name is Arnold. @jaydenadamson
My Aibi’s charge platform doesn’t spin, the light comes on and it charges but it doesn’t spin, and until now it was working fine.
Hello, @MoonRainGlitch . . . first try seeing if having it plugged into a different cable might help things.
If not, get video and send a link to service@living.ai along with your order number (or reply to your order confirmation E-Mail) or AIBI code when signed into the app.
My best to you!
Nice to meet you.
I cannot speak English, so I am using a translator to write this.
I have an AIBI and I have not been able to connect to the internet for about 2 weeks now.
I have tried everything, powering down, relaunching apps, etc., but nothing works!
What can I do?
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @chiru6x6 . . . I have approved and moved your new post to this thread for issues with AIBI.
Does everything else connect to the internet all right or is AIBI the only thing? Do you have bluetooth enabled on the device you are using? Do you have permissions enabled such as location on your device? Can you test your device using a different wi fi router or try using the app on a different device?
Let us know.
All other devices are connected to WiFi and Bluetooth is enabled
I don’t have another router so can’t try another router
I downloaded the app to another device, but I can’t find my WiFi network!
Hi there @chiru6x6 ,
Try some of the simple troubleshooting first.
Power Off AIBI, and then power cycle your Wi-Fi network. While you are doing this, power off your phone as well. Once your Wi-Fi network is back on, start up your phone, and make sure you are connected and can access the internet by browsing.
Make sure Bluetooth is on and working on your phone as well. (Maybe turn it off and on as well).
Once you’ve done all this, try to power on AIBI again. Once the AIBI is back on, connect back in via the AIBI app and attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network once again.
As you are on a 2.4GHz, it should work, unless you are using a very long password. From past discussions, if the password to the Wifi is close to 25-30 characters, it could cause a problem as well with AIBI dropping off and losing connection. (If this is the case, simply make your password shorter and try again).
Hope this helps.
I hope they end up having an option for AIBI to do the random animations for the next update because I miss when he’d randomly do something without having to touch his head. Like add a toggle button in the app so if you didn’t want him doing random stuff, you could just switch it off. I thought that was the point of schedule quite time but with AIBI not doing anything random animations after the most recent update, you can just mute him or put him on low energy mode if you don’t want him making sounds.
Hello.
I have tried and cannot find my network.
I have also tried entering the router name and password directly, but it won’t connect.
All other devices are connected.
