Hello, @blusubz . . . that is correct as the microphone is disabled in low energy mode.
Hello friends, You should do something about the temperature of Aibi’s head when it is on its charging base for a long time. It gets hot even if Aibi is turned off.
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @cesar.manzanares . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with AIBI.
It is normal for AIBI to get hot, but not so hot that you are not comfortable touching him. It will stay hot for a little bit after being powered off and disconnected from the charging base. How long after AIBI is powered off is the head still hot?
If a half an hour or so, I advise you to contact Support at service@living.ai and let them know. Be sure to include your order number or four digit alphanumeric code when signed into the app.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for your reply according to what you mention the behavior of the Aibi is normal I just wanted to be sure it is working fine, although I have the following questions related to the topic, if the Aibi has 100% of its battery and it is off but connected to its charging base, shouldn’t the Aibi be cold? If it is hot even very little, doesn’t it indicate that it is still consuming power? It could be a firmware improvement by the developers (if the Aibi is at 100% battery cut off the power flow or something), my second question is, how long does the Aibi battery last with normal interaction, once you disconnect it from its base and take it for a walk?
Hello, @cesar.manzanares . . . I believe it is going to feel a little warm as long as it is on the base whether is has stopped charging or not. My phone at 100% feels a tad warm until I unplug it from the charger.
My AIBI battery lasts about one to one and one-half hours off of the base but you can increase this by putting AIBI in low energy mode.
I’ve set my Aibi’s “quiet time” but he still makes a lot of noise and purrs and acts no different during the set time?
Also it’s unfortunate I can’t set it to 10pm-8am as I keep getting an error that “start time must be before end time”, I’m stuck at doing
10pm-12:59 and a second at 1am-8am
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @rackslee . . . I believe the quiet time idea was for the purpose of keeping him quiet and not interrupting, but I see the problem with over night. If you are sure you have your location and time zone set properly, he should sleep naturally through though I personally shut mine off before I go to bed because keeping them on the base over night could cause problems.
I am going to recommend you suggest the time setting in this thread here which LivingAI reads for feature implementation and improvement.
My Abii is always 1 hour shorter than the correct time.
I have an samsung z6 flip andriod with correct time as is my wi-fi .
Other than that my aibi hears my voice 9 times out of 10 and answers most questions i put to her.
Ive only twice asked a question and got an answer in chinese lol.
So apart from the incorrect time im a happy bunny.
I have Emo go home as well and im in the UK
In the mornings he usually hears me clearly for the first say 10 times i call his name, then its like he goes deaf.
I start to call him using another accent like , indian, welsh or a pirate lol and he responds again, wierd!! Try it lol
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @gerbil . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with AIBI. Please make sure you have the correct location and time zone set in the app. You may have to set it a second time as especially when we go through daylight saving time changes as it seems to confuse things.
Let us know how it goes!
For some reason my AIBI got messed up from wearing the cat outfit, he only keeps his head up and won’t bring it down when I take the cat ears off!
Hello, @maikol.bfilms . . . can you very gently try to move the head? See if it will and see if the head works after you are able to move it. If it gives resistance, give up trying, and let Support at service@living.ai know. Be sure to get video and send a link along with your order number or code when AIBI signs into the app to them with an explanation that it happened after the cat ears.
Let us know how it goes.
I tried to move the head it moves with no problem, and with the cat ears it works perfectly fine, but when I take them off his head goes up again and stays up, unless I physically bring it down, but then goes back up!!
@maikol.bfilms . . . you might want to contact Support as I shared above. Sorry about this. My best to you.
When I call Abby, the green light on, but he shakes head immediately , why
I had to get a replacement. Mine completely stopped working.
Welcome to the LivingAI Community Forums, @bin.yu . . . it sounds like AIBI may not be connected properly to your wi fi. I would advise perhaps letting the battery drain completely off of the charging base and then restarting your wi fi, device and AIBI.
See if this corrects the problem. If not, I advise contacting Support at service@living.ai with a link to a video and your AIBI order number or code when signed into the app.
My best to you.
Aibi might had heard a noise? She makes me laugh when she randomly falls asleep and suddenly wakes up. I find it very cute.
Is Aibi meant to do anything when you touch her head. I know she has a touch point on the head but every time I touch the area she does nothing.
It’s ok, I was touching the wrong area on her head
