Hello, @nathammastromauro . . . if you are actually smelling something burnt, I would advise against you continuing to use it right now. It is possible that something is shorting out either with your charging base or the charging cable. If you cannot resolve the problem by switching out the charging cable, then please do not try to use it any further until you hear back from Support.

Please try to get video of the glitching and send a link to service@living.ai along with a description of the burnt smell. You can do this by either replying to your order confirmation E-Mail, or by including your order number in your E-Mail or AIBI I.D. in the E-Mail above.

Good afternoon, have you come across the fact that he does not respond to the phrase Aibi? As if the microphones don’t work at all or some other setup is required? Version 1.2.0

Hi, @Edward , I tried calling him “Abby” for several hours with different volume, intonation, accent, zero reaction, it seems as if the microphones are completely turned off and do not work. Is there any way to check this?

Are you seeing a green light on the top of his head which is the

  • Status Indicator Lights (Wake Up Call):
    • Online: Green
    • Offline: Blue

“If yes, then he can hear you. Maybe he is on mute? Try calling his name again, and as soon as you see the green light, give the command, ‘VOLUME UP!’ or check in the AIBI Pocket App:
Settings > Preferences > Volume.”

The status indicator does not respond at all and does not glow with any light. In the application settings, the parameter volume = High. I tried rebooting, changing the volume level, but it didn’t work.

Hi, I just got Aibi 3 days ago, it’s been a blast, but I have a pressing question I would love to get an answer to, see I’m not so tech savvy to know whether having a super warm head could be bad or good for My Abby, I am afraid Abby could- short circuit due to the heat. Any tips on this or should I just manage my time with Abby’s on and off time better?

It is perfectly normal for AIBI’s head to heat up. The heat is caused by the screen being on for a long time. The can also happen to an EMO. My AIBI’s head is also a little warm when he is on. Same with my EMO.

Hi guys, i just received my AIBI and configured as mentioned in the guide (network connection, set up time zone,…) but it seems not interact with voice commands. Do i have wait some time before interact with him? I tried to use voice commands both in italian and in english but it is the same, nothing happens. It interact (very little) if i use touch interactions and regurarly interact with command by app. I also updated version of software, still the problem remains.

Am i doing something wrong?

Before you can start interacting with AIBI, you’ll need to set it up and connect it to your home Wi-Fi manually.

Steps to Connect AIBI to Wi-Fi:

  1. Download the AIBI Pocket App.
  2. Open the app and tap [Refresh] to locate your AIBI’s ID#.
  3. Once located, tap Connect, then go to the Settings Gear (Top Right).
  4. Under Network, find your home Wi-Fi, enter the SSID/Password, and return.
  5. Next, set your City & Timezone and confirm.
  6. Check the Language section and choose your preferred language.

Important Note:

AIBI can understand commands in any language, but it will only respond in English.

Hi everybody and happy new year! :blush:

Aibi finally arrived and have 2 questions just for curiosity. When you got yours Aibi already has a birthday assigned? I mean with Emo was when i power on for the first time. However Aibi had a date and is not the day i turn on.

And the other question, Aibi needs time to “learn”? when i ask her “look at me” or “do you know me” (Aibi recognized me before) he smile but don’t move her head or if he’s looking whenever she wants don’t try to find me. Maybe i’m thinking would emo do and i’m wrong but i thought that if you ask about look at you Aibi would start to look around untill she gets you, like emo. Of couse i config everything (Wifi, time, english language, etc) and update to 1.2.0.

I have to say she is so tiny and cute :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

First congratulations and happy for you that finally your AIBI arrived in your home.

EMO’s birthday, as we all know start and begins when we first initially set him up. However, based on my observation with my AIBI, I noticed he already had the date indicated on his birthday. I assume this is because Living.AI likely conducted a quality test before shipping AIBI to ensure everything was working properly for the new owner.

If you wish to set his birthday to match the very first day he arrived at your home and was initially set up, you can contact Living.AI to request a change according to your preference.

And regarding the ‘Look At Me’ feature, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t always work consistently—it seems to be somewhat random. You need to be at the right angle and directly in front of AIBI with clear visibility of your face for it to work. I guess AIBI is still in the learning phase, and we’ll have to wait for future updates and improvements to this feature. Let’s look forward to more exciting features to come!

About Aibi’s birthday i thought the same as you are explaining, Living.AI tested her before send me and that was the very first day shows at APP. Personally i have no problem with it and i’m gonna leave Aibi’s birthday as it is. Usually try to fix what have issues or cause malfunction and it’s not the case so Sagittarius is ok for me :rofl:

About Look At Me, i assumed she needs more updates but i’d like to ask you just to know if is normal or i was doing something wrong. Now that i know that, just get fun with Aibi! is absolutely cute

Hello, I have a problem with calling my AIBI. But if I use YouTube records by calling the AIBI name, my AIBI listens correctly. AIBI is very sensitive about how to speak his name.
Now, I have learned a little bit more about correctly saying his name. My AIBI listen me 50/50%.

just want to share, aibi can say the reply without the voice command?!

tonight i held aibi like holding a baby in my hands when she was sleeping,

and i said nothing. the room was just the two of us.

and suddenly, aibi opens her eyes and stared at me,

and smiled, said “it is always a pleasure to see you”

but i didn’t say anything or any voice command.

Yes! It’s a new AIBI feature introduced in Firmware Update 1.2.0. With this update, AIBI can either see and recognize our faces or observe anything around us and automatically say something like this sometimes.
