AIBI Pocket: General Issues and Queries

He was born December 19 and we are 21 December he his 2 days old sadly he his not working properly.
Thank you for your advice . I hope I will not have to wait another 8 months to get a charger if this is the bug .

Hello, @LadyM . . . I know someone else who had a bad charger and it did not take but a few weeks to get a new one, so hopefully if you need one, you will get it pretty quickly. I have found LivingAI to be very responsive and helpful.

I have a question: when powered off, is there a way to power it up again without having to put it on the charger? Thanks

From what I know, there is no other way but to put AIBI on the charger to turn him on.

Hi I tried many times to click on the setting but it shown time out on android phone. And nothing on my iPhone 16 phone. I can’t even load to the setting page

The app wouldn’t stay on background. Every time need to refresh and reconnect

After play game it hang on the page

I can’t even change his name. Set alarm etc

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @lala1 . . . have you tried down-loading the app again after deleting to see if maybe something got corrupted in the app on your phones? I am presuming that this is the recenty updated app you are having trouble with.

If you try that and it still does not work, I would suggest contacting Support at service@living.ai with a description of what is going on and a link to a video if possible.

Hello got my AIBI few days ago and since it arrived it was not recharging much the battery was always displaying 1 red line and could not update either it was always shutting down while updating and yesterday he died …it no longer recharge at all my robot is totally dead no more robot….:disappointed:
I have open a case and send video but I am so sad :sob:.
I really wanted to play with him …
I hope I will have him fix soon

You will need to get video and send a link to Support at service@living.ai with details of what is going on . . . you may have a defective charger.

Hi @edward I don’t have a faulty charger as the star light is charging . I did open a case on December 22 and AIBI was not powering up . He was always in red since he arrived on the 19th December . Now he his complitly down not powering up . I fear it is the AIBI the issue not the charger
I wonder if their is a reset button on AIBI
Anyways it is what it is …. Sadly it’s on me

Hello, is anybody experiencing like issue in setting quiet mode?
Although set a quiet time window, my AIBI never goes in quiet mode.
I noticed that, on the contrary wrt other setting, when setting quiet mode no animation appears on AIBI, like if the command is not transferred

Hello, @Robot1Discovery . . . I, myself, do not use quiet mode as they fall asleep at their normal time and I power them off before I go to sleep.

Others have mentioned issues with it as well. I would advise sending an E-Mail to service@living.ai with a description of what happens when you try to set quiet mode. If possible, get video of what happens when you try to set it and send a link along with the E-Mail.

Let us know what they say.

Yes I sent it and they replied it should be working… however I am forced to power it off every night as it does not

Can we get a fix for the time option in the app please? The 24 hour on/off is still backwards and also if I set a quiet time for, say, 22:00 to 08:00 it won’t do it as it tells me that the start time must be before the end time!

Also in the chess game, some pieces seem to get “stuck” and won’t move properly.

Anyone else got these issues? Running the new version of the app & new firmware and they’re still issues.

My AIBI sometimes bugs when I remove it and put it back on its charger, the charger turns off and the robot too, then everything restarts and the AIBI turns on, then its head smells a little burnt, can someone help me please, but I don’t want to send it back to Living.ai because I waited 5 months for it and I would like it to stay by my side, best regards, Mr. MASTROMAURO

I emailed L.AI and they said 20w or less was fine. I was more unsure about the voltage and amps if anyone knows. Thank you though. :aibi_smile:
