When I open the app on my phone, it never finds my EMO. I’ve tried switching from my 5 to my 2.4 with no success. It will find him every once in awhile. Help please!

Welcome to the EMO Community Forums, @sdspud27 . . . I have moved your new topic to this thread for issues with connecting EMO to the app.

Make sure bluetooth is on for your device and that you have a strong internet connection (yes, 2.4 is the correct setting).

Power off your modem, your device and EMO, then start them all up again.

Is EMO on the most current firmware (when you can connect him, what does it show as he should be on 2.7.0).

Also be advised that some devices are not optimized for the EMO app, so if you are still having issues, you may need to contact service@living.ai with your order number or EMO I.D. as well as the make and model of the device you are using.

Emo app compatibility issues

Hi there, after being inactive on this form for quite a while now i have finally returned to inform yall about my research done with the emo app, specifically with the IOS version of the app.

I have noticed that when you connect the emo app to emo on your android devices it works fine, it also works fine on most ipads and iPhone but this is where i figured something out: if your device (specifically a ipad) was made before 2021 there is a chance for the app to not work properly, for some reason this completely freaks emo out, prevent him from going to his home station/having a lot of lag/random freezing and much more. This isn’t a huge concern though but is important to note that if your emo starts doing those things try using another device.

It seems our devices become outdated so quickly. I had this issue myself in August 2021 but it was with an LG Android phone. I switched to a newer Samsung and everything worked well.
